This coming Christmas will mark 75 years since "West Montrose's Darkest Day" It all happened just up the street Ontario's last Covered Bridge. The picturesque tourist attraction that has seen two horror movies filmed there. Stephen King's It and John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness among others. I highly doubt the film crews knew of the real life horror story that happened so long ago?

Most people know about the Timberline Lodge that was used for the Exteriors and that Stephen King famously stayed at The Stanley hotel in room 217. Most don't know about The Algonquin in New Brunswick Canada? King also stayed there in the 70's. Interested?
