No way to just snip the wires for the old Speedo and use for the new one?
Two issues... The wiring harness it comes with has some connections going on way, and some another way. I tried just using one side of the connectors, but a few functions of the old speedo didn't work on the new one, until I made a bridge connector.
How do you think it would do on country hills?. I want to ride it on backroads and there’s a lot of hills. Thanks God bless 🙏
I think that might depend on how much you weigh honestly. If you're over 200, not that great. It's a 200cc after all. It'll definitely have the energy to move you around, just not that fast.
Bought all the stuff to do it and my connector 1A is different. All the wires are all in different spots.
Send me a picture info@kpm200resources.com. You may be looking at the other end of your connector.
@@trekkin_fpv5272 went down to take the picture and you are spot one I was looking at the wrong side. I highly appreciate your help. Can’t wait to have my speedo up higher.
Bro, these bars do not fit
The bars I bought were great. Did you get the right ones?
Where did you get your saddle bags from?
Amazon! Check out my site kpm200resources.com under mods.
Great video, very helpful. Thanks. I'm curious about 2 things about KPM 200 Air filter: 1. do you think we can use any other motor bike brand air filter (substitute parts), or any K&N air filter? 2. I wonder if we don't put the foam filter, will the bike get more power, since it takes more fresh air and will it be safe?
I think using another filter would be fine. It's literally just a cheap paper filter at top, and a piece of foam.
How much do you want to make me a harness like I can use then plug an play

How to wire???
kpm200resources.com/aftermarket-speedometer/
This bike is SO MUCH more versatile, comfortable, and practical that mini-motos like the Honda Grom, Monkey, or Trail. A 200cc engine versus only 125cc, more than double the riding range, plus highway capability. ALL for HALF the price! Perfect for MotorBikePacking - that is, lightweight touring that borrows from bikepacking.
Couldn't agree more!
That is not the drain bolt, that's an oil screen.
You right. Good eye
Yes, you also want to drain from the bottom of the sump. Clean the oil screen. Then replace the crush washer on the bolt, if necessary.
Where did you get center stand?
Chinahao.com
I bought this Speedo on amazon to install on my kpm200
nice! check out my wiring harness video: kpm200resources.com/aftermarket-speedometer/
Worth it in 2024 for 2730? the carbureted version
There is no carb version as far as I'm aware, but I'd say $2500 would be more than fair.
Kawasaki Mexico sells the carbureted version
hey! what saddle bags did you get for your bike they look like they fit great
From amazon, of course. Here's the link: amzn.to/3TEwHVG ... I also did a write-up on my site: kpm200resources.com/saddle-bags/
Quick question! Do you by any chance know if the KPR motor fits into the KPM for a motor swap?
I've been told by KPM USA that the motors on the KPM 200 and KPR 200 are identical. I don't know if they have identical mounts, or if there are any extra parts... but, that's what I was told.
How much would you charge me to just make one for me lol, I’m so confused
$100. I've done a couple of them now. The process is you send me the speedo, I'll make the harness and ensure all functions are working, then I'll send it back. Email me at johnsag49 ::at:: hotmail if you'd like me to do it
Can’t thank you enough for the amazing content. Really interested in buying a harness as well. Also sent you an email, if you are still interested.

This is why LED's!!! Lol I have to recommend the COB LED from Fly High FPV. They are beyond bright, even during full sunlight.
You rescued the video!!!! I love it!!! You had a much better flight then I did. Mine was not happy and did not want to arm. By the time the props finally caught traction, I came within 2 inches of the grass. Lol
really shouldn't be flying right thru and next to the others controls and goggles 🤷
We fly together all the time as a group. We all communicate very well, and can have 6 or 7 pilots in the air at a time with no issues.
Everyone was involved in this one.
I thought they had propeller guards😁

Thank u. Short and sweet. Spent 40 minutes outside of an autozone trying to find what type of oil and filter i needed for this bike
Any recommendations for lowering links to drop it an approx 1.5 inches or so? I know Soupys performance has lowering links for a lot of bikes!
I am not sure actually!
@@trekkin_fpv5272 they reposnded that’s they don’t have any after looking at a picture of the shock mounting since there is no dog bone in place.
Great Instructional Video!!! At what mileage do you recommend doing the air filter change? Keep up the great work and more KPM videos please!
Thanks. It recommends 3000km, I believe, in the manual. I haven't gone that far but I've been riding for 3 years so it felt about time.
Thanks dude
I purchased the same Speedo and bracket. Looking for someone to build me a harness so both the original and new Speedo both work in parallel. I just had shoulder surgery and I am restricted with my movements. I would pay for supplies, shipping and your time...any takers?

@@trekkin_fpv5272 thank you
Did you figure out the MPH?
Yep, I just used GPS and adjusted it bit by bit til it was accurate
Sir, I love the look of the bike, my concerns are the reliability, parts and no manual for owners. how do u know when to do proper maintenance per recommendation such as coolant, valve adjustments, oil change (which is easiest around 3k). Need your recommendation and advice as an Owner. there's one that I can get for $1500 only 366 miles, clean title. Met the owner 35 yrs old, nice guy, let me took it for test ride with no money in his hand total trust low key guy wasn't pushy. Only selling because he's moving out of state with his family. I met his wife and family so there's nothing fishy with his reasons to sell. I know lot's of people will make things up to try and sell. I really like the look, as for the ride definitely slow. Thoughts?
the manual is available online, check my site: kpm200resources.com. It's been very reliable, but as reliable as a honda or yamaha? probably not. Parts are available at dealers nationwide, but they're expensive. You can also order them online, but it'll take longer for them to arrive (weeks at least.) ... sounds like a good deal, to be honest. Proper maintenance is in the manual, which again is on my site. Super easy. Probably the easiest bike I've worked on yet.
@@trekkin_fpv5272 thank you sir love your website
Nice mods, how do you like this bike.
I like it. If I had a bigger bike I think I'd still ride it quite a bit. It's a great around town bike, whips around turns, and is easy to work on.
is this bike worth buying? im 15 and i want this bike but i dont know if its worth it for myy age
For your age it's perfect. Very forgiving. Drop it and who cares. Parts are the only issue. But take care of it, learn how to change plugs, oil, bleed brakes ... all that stuff. It's stupid easy to ride.
Can you please show us how you created the wire harnesses for this bike? never made one in my life 😅
Where do you live? If you ship me the wire, I'll make you one and send it to you.
@@trekkin_fpv5272 I have yet to order this bike, I just have a list of mods to purchase for when I do get this bike. I just love the aesthetics of the bike so much. When I do get it, i'm going to take that offer if its still on the tabe. :D btw is it still riding good, quality wise?
What’s the best way to contact you
Actual mph on these is off by 5-7mph
Definitely. The stock speedo is not accurate. I dialed in my new speedo by matching it to gps speed.
@@trekkin_fpv5272 can you please enlighten us how you did that? 😁
My one issue with this bike is the spedo, so glad to see your replacement. Hope it’s not too complicated to do!
It's not too complicated. The hardest part is just making the wiring harnesses. But if I had the guide I created ahead of time, it would have been A LOT quicker: kpm200resources.com/aftermarket-speedometer/
@@trekkin_fpv5272 Thanks so much!
@@trekkin_fpv5272any chance of purchasing a pre-made harness? Best way to contact you :)
really appreciate you sharing your kpm videos with us, it's been really informative!
Where did you find the L shaped brackets for the saddlebags? And do you remember what size screw you used to screw it in?
The screw was metric. I don't recall exactly but it was available at home Depot. Probably a m9 or m8. I got the brackets there too. Just a standard L shaped bracket bent
@@trekkin_fpv5272 thanks!!!
@1trae9 M8 x 1.25 bolt holes
I have one of these and it is a lot of motorcycle for the money unfortunately I haven't been able to ride it because the company and no one in the entire world has a manual on this bike, there are no videos detailing parts, no diagrams, nothing so i cannot troubleshoot my no power issue. Something is missing and i will never know what that is.
Here's the manual. It includes a wiring diagram. Check your fuses first, they're next to the battery. drive.google.com/file/d/14inAJQGNGl_ewLtEOjzfRg47fQTRsAac/view?usp=drivesdk
@@trekkin_fpv5272 What a surprise to find this reply. A very cool gesture that is much appreciated. I cannot find the main fuse and I suspect someone removed it.
Did you figure it out? So no manual at all?
Hey, where did you find your center stand? They're hard to find online.
Chinahao.com pain in the ass and the shipping is expensive. But it is worth having.
Where did you get the black side covers? Mine came stock with white ones.
Only one side of mine is black. The other is silver. It just came that way.
lol start by testing using the same quad...
It was the same quad dingus. This is also the last in a series of tests that involved the same quad and different quads.
What vtx are you using at what power
They were all Mobula 6's that have their own VTX. 100mw
Wonder why the difference?
I've never had video that and on mine even with the stock reciever
So not the same whoop on each goggle?? Im wonder why hdo2 is stable. With rapid and the skyzone not...
nice one
