Thanks for sharing my home town, I caught a video of someone else doing what you are doing in Newton, and I got homesick, I googled Newton New Jersey in RUclips and found your video. Makes me happy 😄

I stopped by there over a week ago. The people over there are pretty chill, especially at the Erie hotel.

Looks pretty bleak, but then again, it was winter. Right now, it's hot and humid, and not bleak. These small towns seem to have little sense of community, which is too bad.

St. Monica's parking lot! Dad drove in there a thousand times! To be in Sussex around 1964 was incredible.

We live in Montgomery. Too bad Walden is going to shit.

I would love to live there with my family, either Franklin, Ogdensburg, Sparta, Newton, or other towns at Sussex County. Franklin and / or Ogdensburg, then it would be great to be surrounded by other great places to drive around over at Sussex County. I thank you so much for doing this for us viewers. Some narration or text explanations would be helpful in understanding what is being seen. Looking north or east, etc., traveling down 17K or Washington Street, etc.

nice to see that old town again ! lived there in the early 80s old creamery road down the street from the fire house, we play baseball in that field in front of it you went past so many of my friends and families houses , great memories thank for posting this!

Trains used to come here from the big city, regretfully stopped a long time ago but what fun it must have been to come here and enjoy the lake and surrounding mountains. Still a great place.

I used to work the Sussex county Farm and Horse shpw when i was a kid in the summer. Rode our bikes down from Culvers Lake where i grew up.

Hey Awesome street coverage of Mid Town. '75 OCCC grad here from Walden, great times back then. Dino's Club was the place back then!!!!! Glad they preserved the old Erie/ EL station. To bad the moron NJT/ MTN planners had their heads so stuck up where the moon don't shine killed the inter city rail commuter line and stuck the current station shelters way out of Middletown / Goshen on the Graham line.

You just drove around in a big circle. Starting at round Hill elementary, taking route 208 to clove road and back on to round hill road. With a couple random side roads to turn around. When did you film this video? I know you recording did before 4 p.m. when it was uploaded. At about 3:30pm, blooming Grove Police department shut down clove road between route 208 & round Hill road. I know because I was trying to get to Sunoco at that time but had detour onto round hill Rd. Thanks for sharing. Wish there where more shots of the actual fire.

Are you a local as well? I live just a few minutes away from the location of that fire. You passed right by my old house right at the corner of 208 & round hill.
