Spoon Sports Street Exhaust Sound Clip Install & Revving
This exhaust used to be nearly unobtainable pre-pandemic. And if you did happen to find it, I remember it was upwards of $800, maybe even $1200 at some point. Then a majestic Japanese business opened up called www.blackhawkjapan.com and made authentic JDM parts accessible to us without the price gouging.
Retail on this exhaust via the U.S. Spoon Sports website is $750 (spoonusa.com/spoon-tail-silencer-street-type-civic-eg6-ek4-ek9).
Blackhawk offers the exhaust for ~ $437 (www.blackhawkjapan.com/products/spoon-tail-silencer-n1-exhaust-muffler-18030-eg6-000?_pos=1&_psq=spoon+exhaust+eg&_ss=e&_v=1.0)

Rare Retro JDM Wheel Restored!
Просмотров 40421 день назад
I acquired these JDM SSR Type X 15x6.5" in rough shape. Wheels were true, which is what mattered the most, but it had a decent curb rash, caked on brake dust, and paint chipping off. I had to send them off to be refinished. No compromises on the restoration job! Even though I am not doing it myself, I have to organize the restoration to make sure it comes out perfectly how I want! Proper Motion...
93 Honda Civic EG Canyons Drone Footage (4K)
Просмотров 315Месяц назад
I do not condone reckless driving in the canyons. The 40 MPH speed limit is plenty (I did it), and the recorded footage is sped up as I am going 25 MPH because my drone only flies about 20 MPH. The day I was filming, there were tons of families and construction workers up here, and its usually pretty busy. The canyons are not a proving ground or a place to set personal records or push your limi...

Maiden Voyage - 93' Civic Hatchback Aztec Green. One of the last ones left.
I've got to get my 1992 eg9 ferio (b16a) back out !...Nice looking car mate...
Thank you sir. You're so lucky your cars came with the B16. My car came with 100 hp... And in California, its illegal to swap it!
Where did you get the door trim ?...
hi, door trim is stock
Many new Hondas production doesn’t make any better than older model except for the gas mileage.
yes, the inside of the new Hondas look even worse. This one gets 40 mpg
Yo I have a quick question if I got 15x6.5 inch wheels what tires do u recommend I get
205/50/15 fo sho
Clean
Thanks sir
Stop fetishising import parts, learn the theory and build it yourself.
Thank you for watching my video. I am already familiar with the theory. This car is not a project, it is a restoration, so no parts will be fabricated for it. Everything will be purchased.
It’s funny to see people buy these jdm exhausts for so much money just for it to sound mediocre, there’s a rare jdm exhaust that’s just a straight pipe 😂
@@3kzack sound is subjective. I can put together a system with a Magnaflow resonator and muffler that will sound much better than most of the systems out there, I've done it before. But if you factor $300-400 for the parts, plus $200 or so for mandrel bent stainless piping, $50-100 for misc hardware such as flanges, bolts, hangers... That's about $600-800 for just parts. Then considering you have the time and energy and equipment to weld everything up.... And then you cannot sell your custom exhaust system if you needed to for more than $200... A $800 JDM exhaust system makes more sense, especially if you needed to, you could part it out and easily sell it for half price. Been there, done it.
@@3kzack this is not a straight pipe you dolt..
Nice comparison 😊
Thanks!
Best wheel design ever. On another note, take them back to the shop, they should have never let them leave the shop that way. SMH
thanks, yeah! underrated spec too, super good clearance! powder coat was fine, just cleaned it with a blade
Tanabe, JS-R and Yonaka style exhausts always look very nice. This is what I would choose for ny car too. JDM always has the best looking parts in form and function. Thank you for sharing this information.
@@Mike_44 yes sirr
Super clean I have 17”advan racing wheels on my 91 CB7
I'm currently rocking 5zigen fn01r-c 15x7
nice, that's a classic wheel
Where’s the spoon exhaust vid?
😄 I haven't gotten the time to go back to the mountains... Can't go faster than 25 mph round here.
Nice pickup! Rodrez for Honda Tuning back in the day had SSR Type-X wheels on his red EG hatchback. 😊
Rodrez is an OG!
the white wheels are slick. I’m still rocking 14” steels. lol
All good! OEM restoration is awesome too
Hell yeah❤ they are going to look really good… I would like some Sparco Terra in white with blue for my 05 si
That color combo would be hot
Always wanted one of these. I had a '91 Si in Tahitian green pearl and that car was my first love. Had a 2000 Si after that and I had nothing but problems with it. Now I drive a CR-V. 😏
Ah, 91 in TGP.... A real rarity now a days
@@RPSDZNTV Yeah, I really regret letting that one go.
Post up the spoon muffler sounds please
will do!
4:00 The US Si didn't have power windows or ABS.
roger that
Where did you buy the mid pipes and custom cat? Im from laguna hills.
It came with the car. Any muffler shop should be able to weld a nice one up for your. I suggest magnaflow resonator for the mid pipe
Dope shots 🎥! Whats the setup? You planning to cruise PCH?
lol, thanks. Setup is 87 octane gas and 40 mpg. Gonna cruise PCH soon!
Awesome canvas, bro! I just picked up a 92 EH2 myself. WIl be following your build for sure!
Thank you sir! Nice car yourself!

I can feel a restomod happening for this EG and I'm here for it! 🚘 🎉
Yeah, thanks! I'm trying to keep it OEM+ but it's hard lol
How do you like the progress cs2 for daily driving
nice car! I actually don't like them very much. They're great for the spirited driving, but the LA roads make them ride really rough. I am not sure which springs I have, I doubt its their softest spring though. Either way, I had 450/350# on my Integra, and it was the same thing.

Fyi bro garden Grove is known as part of Little Saigon...a couple of good Korean restaurants but pretty much all Viet business...du ma nice Honda
@@DuPhoReal lol. Du ma, thank you. This is the Korean district.
@RPSDZNTV "The Korean district in Southern California is called Koreatown, located in central Los Angeles. It's often referred to as "K-town" and is considered the primary hub of the Korean community in the region." not making a biggie but being raised in both socal and NorCal just wanted to make sure garden Grove is represented correct 🫰👍
@@DuPhoRealdude there's literally a sign that says you're in the Korean business district on Garden Grove Blvd. Little Saigon is more popular but could be both.
@@tracerit images.app.goo.gl/n48D9hgA991dteqW6 Weird this is the main sign I see. But like I said no biggie just wanted the facts correct so it doesn't distract from his sexy Honda which is probably the main point of the video. Du ma lol

I had a 93 looked like that one also had a 95 looked like this one it was red
look forward to hearing the Spoon. These Civic are so much fun to drive 30 days later. lol….
Thank you sir! Hope your build is going well!
its just a civic, ........
@@VaiHer yep
I've bought from Black Hawk before. Good store. Wish their website search is better.
What do you mean? I thought it worked well for my purposes. For example, I searched "EG6" and saw every item for my (our) car.
Heard of Blackhawk Japan 🇯🇵 🏯 on eBay. I always wanted a JDM RS*R ex mag or JDM Tanabe G Touring Medallion for my EG hatchback. Scoured but never found them so I settled for a Spoon Sports N1 exhaust with EG6 b-pipe. It was on my Y8 VTEC setup. Have since sold car but miss it! Street version is more stylish and quieter too. Nice pick up!
Thanks sir! Yeah the N1 is timeless, but I wanted something quiet.
I love my 80s shitbox with 72HP, i manage to drift it thru dirt streets like it's got three times that
nice man
@RPSDZNTV sad thing is that theres zero info about the car and cosmetic parts are non existent, I can only get mechanical parts since those are from a Brazilian chevette
Damm dude that’s the one I want, I have seen Blackhawk sight and you right there the shit. My friend has the Tanabe on his EK. I use to have the Greddy DT on my eg9 I loved it, also had the Apex I on the AE86. There’s nothing better than a good exhaust
Yeah man! Its like jewelry
Spoon sports street exhaust ok
Nah, its dope as heck
This is the way man!
Thanks sir!
EF EG all the way
That’s pretty much how I feel about my 1984 ae86 tofu shitbox It’s so fun to drive
@@JB-sv5pr nice, my wife wants one. Maybe one day I can pick one up lol

Really cool to see this video. I currentlyown a red 94 si that is still all original I just had it repainted a couple of months ago it looks like new
sheitttt mayne 100 - 140 in the mid 90s was hellcat power for JDM cars lmao. frfr
by that metric all the "276hp" cars were basically Koenigseggs
@@BSM7702 lol, yeah for real. This thing barely weighs over 2000 pounds. With 100 hp, it's super fun to drive lol
@@mckinnonwolf7877 yeah seriously, where between zero and 80 miles an hour would somebody use all 300 hp anyway lol. You could probably fly your car for about four seconds before you're doing pretty dangerous on the road.
