It is difficult for me to accept that the highest degree planet is the planet whose energy we have mastered in the past. I say this because of personal experience. I have Venus as highest degree, I am running Venus dasha but let me tell you that I was clueless about diplomacy and how to handle myself in relationships even the choices I made were really bad in retrospect. So, I personally disagree with the statement that our atmakarak is the planet whose energy we have “mastered”. The most I can say is that atmakarak is the planet whose lessons are most important for our current phase in soul evolution.
