Ive seen john perform this song numerous times. And I play a slower Bette Midler version a few times a week because I love the song. I am not a good piano player, but the song moves me. Yours is a nice version Diana. Thanks. What amazes me is that he wrote this song when he was 23 years old. Most people that age don't give much thought to the struggles of the elderly. It's just a testament to his character. Rest in Peace John.
