Designed by Satoshi Kamiya I just plopped part of a bird base (with a few modifications obviously) around the real cp and just did some shaping. Because the long thin tails needed SOOOOOOOO many sinks, even the tissue paper layers built up. 😭😭😭

DESIGNED BY ME!!!!!!!! I wanted to make a design like this for a veeeeery long time. I was inspired mostly by Kei Watanabe's sea turtle, but there is no instructional vid, diagram, or cp for it, so I did my best to design this thing! Im sorry, do you want a guide for head empty or phoenix? If its phoenix, boice has a 3part tutorial. If you want a head empty, i have one that doesnt help with precreasing but has a bit of help for collapse and shaping.

Thank you! if you mean where did I get the instructions, I modified Satoshi Kamiya's pattern to have 2 extra corners to make tails! Just put the Phoenix 3.5 in the top left corner and add the three tails with the remaining paper.

i made it too, its somethink difficult, But there's a reverse fold that doesn't come out in the CP
Great job! For the reverse fold it is probably the shoulders that you are talking about, you need to flip the layer for the color change

I just posted a new version that uses color change, and it better documents each shape. It doesnt help much with precreasing, but it show the collapse and shaping process!

It's hard to make a full tutorial of the model but Boice Wong made some easier versions that you can use to work up to the crease pattern
