We loved the hotel. I wasn’t a fan of the standard room being on second floor. It was too close to the staff laundry services. I would request a room on a higher level. The room on the 12th floor was nicer and offered a quieter experience. Have an amazing time ♥️

Yes I personally enjoyed the scents. If you don’t like overly scented products I would use your own. However, I really enjoyed the scents ♥️

We didn't experience any motion sickness. Some nights you could definitely feel the rocking of the ship from the waves. Have an amazing time

Under the bed was 2 full size storage drawers. You could probably have a child sleep on the couch but it did not convert to a bed.

I've stayed on this ship before when I was younger and my parents and I are going again next year! I remember I slept on the couch I believe they added sheets to it to make it similar to a twin.

Yes we could hear between the rooms. We had a very noisy child next door that the parents let him slam doors and run around during the day. But at night it was quiet.

NYC is closer to home for us so it was nice just driving in the day of embarkation. However, I feel NYC was very expensive in terms of trying to leave via Uber back home. So unless you drive in or preschedule a ride it can be extremely expensive to leave once you disembark. For Port Canaveral we traveled the day before to guarantee we didn’t miss embarkation time. I love Florida so I loved coming in and out of Port Canaveral. We can definitely do a cruising essentials video 😊

Yes it definitely was a very spacious cabin. And we plan on traveling with MSC again in the future and will definitely be doing Yacht Club again 😊

Yay Happy cruising ❤️ Every night offers different options for entertainment which depends on the length of the trip. Definitely lots to do. Spice H2O which is the adult area did have dancing some nights on deck. There is a nightclub that offered music and dancing every night. I believe 1 night they did offer 80s music. Have an amazing trip 😊

Thanks for that information - it’s much appreciated. It’s sad to hear that the money you prepay or additional tipping on a check isn’t going to the crew members directly. I did speak to a crew member who brought us our room service and he confirmed they do not see the tip added to the check - so we always tipped in cash. We paid over $800 in prepaid Beverage/Dinner gratuities and the daily service charge. And then we tipped cash on top of that to everyone we encountered for service including but not limited to bartenders, waiters, room stewards and crew members cleaning tables at the buffet area. I’m definitely going to keep in mind removing the service charge next time we cruise. Thanks again and happy cruising 😀

They have designated smoking areas in the casino. It was off to one area but definitely people were allowed to smoke during casino hours. We tried to stay away from those areas when we were in or around the casino but you could still smell the smoke.

Unfortunately they have a smoking area but it doesn’t seem to help , the casino still smells.

Technically no, the buffet is complimentary, Osheehan’s bar is also complimentary. Cagneys is speciality dining which does cost money. However, we had the speciality dining plan as part of our cruise booking, so we didn’t pay anything extra for the meals while we were on board. When we booked we were given 2 speciality dining meals each, and we paid for an additional 2 which was cheaper then paying al la carte at those speciality dining restaurants. However, I will say they had enough restaurants and bars to eat at that were complimentary and the speciality dining restaurants aren’t necessary if you don’t want to spend extra. We really enjoyed the freedom of just going to the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hope that helps 😊

Yes you can bypass the long line and go straight to the white tent for YC. The tent is near the steps up at Port Canaveral, someone will be there to check you in and give you a sticker that shows you are YC and all the staff will direct you through. It was super fast and easy. They will also take your luggage at the tent. They have a special YC lounge in the terminal where they have snacks and drinks - we enjoyed some champagne and cookies 😊 happy cruising

We checked our large suitcases when we arrived and just carried on our backpacks. However I believe they will let you carry them on as well. They will still have to go through the X-ray machine at the security line. With regard to tipping - we did tip our room attendants, bartenders and wait staff. However, not everyone was tipping. We just wanted to give to those that gave exceptional service. Have an amazing trip ❤️

I feel $14 per night is not a lot so I’ll be sure to bring tip money like we were going to an all inclusive resort. Thanks again! We can’t wait!

It definitely felt warmer then 74 but it was beautiful and breezy. The water was kinda cold but it was January, however many people still went out in the water. We only went on the jet skis and I’d say it was bearable. Have an amazing trip ❤️ can’t wait to go back
