Its like, Music for a found "string duo". Lol
Great lift on Jenny Dang! That's the way to do it...
You're in a place that only you and other musicians can know. It's beautiful to watch.
Nicely done!!
Hey Darragh, found this by chance! Good to see you, man!
Awesome!

What a beautiful blue sweater!
Wow! Jenny Dang is excellent. Impressive!
Great boys
It's a shame this so little views. Such a lovely piece.
Fantastic! keep the beautiful music alive!
Wonderful video, i play cock o the North on my ghb, at approximately 1.35 the tone becomes a lot deeper and loud, it sounds great, is there a name for this movement/embellishment on the fiddle?
He is simply bowing two strings at once - playing the melody notes on the A string while playing the open E string as well - the open E is serving as a "drone". I don't know a name for the technique itself; I suppose you could call it "droning" ... !
Fanny music
Your film made me laugh and so happy! Thank you:D
Hello again, do you live in the uk?
My father died last week and I want someone to play (maybe together with myself at the burial) I would pay you well
On the parts when you strike several strings at the same time, is it a chord, and when is the best time to do that? Thanks Liam
I have noticed that barely McKenna does that
Great !
Excellent Michael Thankyou
No problem, let me know if you have any comments or questions!
Another great tune for me to learn! I'm trying to learn it by ear... Do you have the sheet music published anywhere to make it a bit easier?
Hell yea! The move to major was real
Virtuoso, great! Is that a Merlin whistle?
Very nicely played,a good pairing, and a lot easier on the ear with fiddle, dare I say, than on the pipes, which struggle to keep that flow and bounce,thanks..
You are amazing !
Love it!
I'd like to play the Auld Pipe Reel on violin, I've tried it by ear from your video but its very fast! Do you know where I could find the music for it?
Hi Rowan! I learned this tune from a book "Ceol Na Fiddle, Highland Tunes for the Fiddle, Volume 4" published by Taigh Na Teud, except in the book it has two different names: "Traditional Reel" and "Donald Macleod's Reel." That book is a great source for many Scottish tunes, but you might also be able to find the tune online under one of those other names. Happy fiddling!
Thanks, I'll be able to look for it now.
Well composed, especially the "A" part, very smooth and tight.
