Thanks! I've been told this is one of the hardest bosses in the DLC, which puts the roughest part behind me, hopefully.

The pawn attitude changing item is available in the rift crystal shop for 2k rift crystals. It's in the list along with those cosmetic items I mentioned. Once again, it's in game. My whole point is that these mtx are pointless and that I also agree that they shouldn't exist, but also that they are so pointless that there is no reason to be mad about them. I have no reason to lie. I'm an un-monetized channel. There is literally nothing for me to gain by putting out this video.

I saw. A 5 second internal cooldown doesn't even let you do big bursts with Miasma. At least let it be a 5 second CD PER STATUS AILMENT. It doesn't help either that all of status duration boosts don't actually add any damage so they end up just making your dots tick for less on each tick.

This weapon is crafted from the item that drops after you kill the last boss of the new Awakened King DLC.

Depending on the boss, this might be the play if that's what you're aiming for. That Root Tree boss dies in seconds with this setup, but it also has a very easy to hit weakpoint.

Honestly, 3.0 meta gear is fine until like MR4 or so. At that point, I'd just focus on attack up and building crit until you reach end game. We'll be using the final boss armor a lot for the meta sets so that should be your target farm once you beat the story. I'll have a video out on it once we finish all of the math.

I like the songlist on that horn but it damage is just so low that it's just simply not worth the materials to craft it. It had some potential in Sunbreak but the raw is still mega-low compared to other horns of the same element. Even the final boss horn is significantly better, having more raw, 80 hits of purple sharpness, and a similar songlist. I love Valstrax as a monster but they did my boy's HH dirty.

And in typical fashion, we re-ran the numbers and the Valstrax horn is actually really good in Sunbreak. It's a bit behind Shagaru's horn if you're up keeping atk up via Bead, but it's way comfier to use.

@@Gravyon Nice to know. I'm maybe 1-2 hunts away from unlocking MR Valstrax, so it'll be up there on my list of things to max out.

Sorry for the late reply but it certainly is! PC launched at the same patch as Switch is currently at so every set here should be good to go for your endgame needs.

You'll want to add the Attack Melody 2 ramp up to the weapon. That changes the song list to the one used in the guide.

Considering that the Frontier that is currently available is incomplete and made from stolen files, I won't be making content for it. Once the original team that was working on it puts out their version, I will very likely get back into the guide making scene for the game.

I'm sure that they're out there but Healing Horn isn't really a meta set. And with the 3.0 meta having a lot of Dragonheart across the entire spectrum of weapons, if you're not playing with a dedicated party, you're actually lowering your team's overall damage by playing healing horn. For solo play, you could use a 2.0 set but you will be significantly behind in damage compared to Dragonheart. HH just doesn't scale nearly as well with Crit as other weapons and the difference is some 20%+. At the end of the day, I cannot recommend playing Healing Horn.

That can help some if you feel it's needed. As with any meta set, swapping out a few decorations for some comfort skills is totally a matter of preference. You'll definitely lose some damage but it's not the end of the world.

So Hunting Horn has 2 different damage types: Normal Hits, which can crit and do elemental damage, and shockwave hits, which cannot crit or deal elemental damage but ignore hitzones. Shockwaves are between 35-40% of our overall damage and don't benefit from crit at all. Because of this crit is significantly worse for Hunting Horn than it is for other weapons. The Narga horn also has incredibly low raw compared to the current meta horns, so that combined with crit not scaling as well for HH, has left that particular horn in the dust. It's not a bad horn if you're still grinding through the game, but if you've gotten to Valstrax and have access to Rampage Agitato S and the Valstrax armor, then the Narga Horn is completely outclassed.

@@Gravyon I got the valstrax armor when that monster got released so it’s been a long time since then, should I just sell narga hh cuz I thought since it has white sharpness n 40% crit it would be good, my current narga build with hh has wex 3, crit boost 3, attack 7 and masters touch, also should I sell my tigrex hh as well just stick with rampage hh. I was going to make it later on. I do understand why u said to use valstrax armor, I saw a speed runner with valstrax armor n rampage hh.

Yep! EFR is the abbreviation for Effective Raw. HH isn't much of an elemental weapon, but if it ever does get some elemental options, we'd use EFE for that (effective element).

This is mostly due to some 35-40% of the hunting horn's damage not being able to crit. Crit boost is a nice damage increase but since our shockwaves can neither crit not apply elemental damage, crit boost loses a lot of value compared to just stacking more attack, which does scale shockwave damage.

It was replaced by TIgrex and Bazel

@@riossaleem I don't see how it was replaced, doesn't Wild grunt still have better raw assuming someone else provides the attack buffs? (the other two are obviously better when you're the only HH, but that wasn't my question)

Yeah, if someone else is running Attack Up Song, and you've got the required handicraft in your set to get Wild Grun to white sharpness, it is in fact the go to weapon for multiplayer. That said, it's exceedingly far behind for solo play.
