the game is still teaming with potential. a solid expansion that also diversifies the base game + hard mode will push it over the edge.
As long as it’s a proper hard mode and not that crap we got with dark arisen I agree!
Running a similar mod set up myself, expect I fiddled with the new game + nightmare difficulty to make bosses actually kill able. The game is really different when enemies actually get to use most their moveset and deal decent damage. Really shows how much this game needs and official hard mode

@@pietrocr7 uso una lacrima del balsamo che si chiama parata spontanea. Con quella puoi parare senza prendere danno, ma la parata deve essere precisa, stile sekiro. La si ottiene battendo il primo golem della fornace, all'inizio del dlc.

Have you tried the first one? some things are definitely better on that one and its dirty cheap now and most definitely worth a try.
@@JLG35X already did, the only thing i miss from that game is the armor layering. Everything else I prefer on DD2, especially the open world exploration and the dynamic combat.
@@loneaquila Personally I think the Sorcerer was better on the other one and the climbing specially for Strider was superior, but I did have fun with this one.
@@JLG35X Sorcerer in DD2 feels a little limited but it is acceptable(for me anyway because i love the design choices they made for this game) and because DD2 is reaching for an interactive form of action combat hence why melee classes are generally more exciting and fun to play especially with the variety of combat animations. It's perfect!
Alot of ppl seem to forget how bad the camera in dd1 is when they say it's better then dd2 the best part about dd1 is the dungeons yet the camera is the worst in small areas/dungeons.

I just wish the attacks were more impactfull. Especially as Mystic Spearhand and Warrior I find them very underwhelming. The movesets are great, but the hit impact is kinda meh.
