i also believe that the husband just had a sleep disorder. the connection between the ghost and the husband's behavior are just coincidental. the wife really went cuckoo due to several days of no sleeping watching over her child and husband. also, we only saw the "departure" of the ghost at the end through her eyes, meaning it was (most probably) only her hallucination. don't forget that the husband is an actor and also knows how to impersonate the old man. lack of sleep really messes up with the brain

They weren't small apartments. They could have rehomed a few hundred more. The occupants were greedy with their food. The hierarchy getting more and the lower ranks recieving less. Those children at least could have been saved. They are the future. Lee Byung Hun's character was insane with his importance. A despot, and he didn't belong, according to the rules he agreed upon.

What if both of them are having sleeping disorders. One is a heavy sleeper and the other is a sleep walker who attacks. In the movie it's said that sleep walker attack while seeing nightmares. Husband doesn't have any recollection of what happened. And what if most of it was the wife's nightmare. And she acts on some of it herself unintentionally. In the end husband is scared of her behaviour. It's not the soul living the body. He is acting so that his wife will feel relaxed.

The real villains are always WOMEN.

In my opinion, the delegate symbolizes people who will do anything to survive even that means turning blind to morals and being selfish. The wife symbolizes people who thinks otherwise, surviving is being nice in each other and helping one another without being selfish in times of crisis. While the husband symbolizes someone who is caught between those two principles. In the end, the couple ran away and the husband realized that they shouldn't be selfish. The wife realizes, that everything they had done in the apartment building is all just how humans will do anything to survive but in it is in a wrong way. In that ending scene, people from outside just accepted her, because they think like her, that humans can survive anything if they helped one another. This is all just according to my perspective after I have done watching it. Overall, what a great movie 10/10

This movie was a textbook allegory for the rise and inevitable fall of fascism. A movie is rarely this clear cut. What an incredible misreading you have here. The residents elect a heroic, strong man leader then essentially rallied around a sense of nationalism. They dehumanized outsiders (calling them cockroaches and sending them to their deaths) based on their sense of entitlement to that land even after society collapsed and that entitlement was rendered arbitrary. The idea that morals and what’s necessary is different in this case for the sake of survival is ridiculous. They are not “just trying to survive” they allocate resources unevenly to their leader and his militia. They throw parties and dance, they murder people outside of their territory and take unnecessary things like gold teeth. Thats further reinforced by the ending where it’s clear that people outside of the building are already rebuilding and taking refugees and providing food to newcomers.

This explanation isn't well done. The best way is to watch it. It's really an excellent movie and will keep you guessing.

Honestly I pity the husband and the delegate the most. They try their best in the shity situation they were in. Especially when I see the husband crawling among the corpse just his wife and him didn't get kick out, but it's all for nothing anyway because his wife. The wife is so blind to her own sense of justice she can't even see the bigger picture. In the end she survive anyway

A beautiful drama that I have watched several times already and will likely see it again in a while. Worth the watch.

If want whole story must start to watch every season in Last Kingdom..you will no regret..and like grand finale is movie..Last Kingdom is not like Vikings..Uhtred is ultimate caracter..and others also..but Uhtred and Finan and later joined Sihtric..best warriors and friends..

The pedophilia phenomenon is tricky to navigate. Because it builds a taboo. And everybody wants what they're not supposed to have. Weird times we're living in. I look forward to focusing on work.
