I don't even know how i didn't really think of his existence until it was too late. He's one of those famous people that i love and wish they were still alive so i could hug them, and talk to them.

Tried to listen to this when sleeping but it’s unfortunate that there are ads. Every time I was about the fall asleep two ads popped up eventually I had to change it after the second set of ads. Otherwise it would have been nice

I definitely never intended for these videos to be interrupted by ads, and I don't seem to have any control over it. But thanks for letting me know! After a really tumultuous, stress filled week I came upon this and listened. It had been my Alan Rickman day I watch sense and sensibility, several different interviews, I’m currently reading his journals but there is something so calming about his nature, and the way he speaks that helps me get centered. I really do miss him.

What a delightful video! Alan Rickman is more articulate, without arrogance; brilliant; charming; and mesmerizing even than any of his characters. I particularly recommend his beautiful recitation of the Shakespearean sonnet one hundred thirty (“My mistress’s eyes are nothing like the sun….”) commencing at 13:16.

Including those Sarajevo excerpts was a bit of a difficult decision, but I found them so moving and haunting and beautifully read that I didn't want to leave them out. However, I could do a 'no war' version of this, so people can listen all the way through without encountering these ghastly images.
