@@bihariboygamer2332 It is bit difficult to find one, because the SSD that was used in 2015-2017 macbooks are no more available in the market. So no more adapter is not being manufactured for those SSDs. But in case I get any link who has old stock for such adapter will definitely share with you.

I used this adapter for my 2015 macbook Air. This will also work for 2017 models as mentioned in my video. But earlier to 2015 this adapter will work only if the default ssd specs matches with the ones that come with my mentioned models.

@@gizmohub22 Well, thank you. I've been investigating which SSDs are compatible and looks like I'm going gamble. I've found a dude saying that the HP EX900 is compatible with the hibernation mode. I'll buy an adapter and I'll try with a WD Blue from another PC and I'll see if at least the Disk tool sees the drive. I'll try to post an update if someone is out there facing the same problem.

@@gizmohub22 Fellas, I am happy to report I successfully replaced my SSD on my Macbook Air. First of all, I made a mistake identifying the computer, it is a Mid 2013 MB Air and not a 2014. The identifier is a 6,2 and I didn't make a good job searching the different models of MB air. According to Apple, 6,2 models range from 2013 to 2014, so the L is mine here haha. Second, I watched more videos and some of them pointed to a forum talking about some issues with those 6,2 models, regarding the "Sleep mode" but also according to that forum, most of the issues were resolved with the upgrade of the Boot rom, so using the Boot rom 4xx would solve them. Mine has 47X. Third, I bought a "generic of the generic" adapter, people say Sintech makes the best adapters but I found one cheaper so I went with that one. The SSD I used is the XPG SX6000 pro. According to the seller (and mostly other sellers) that SSD is one of the most used. Worked flawlessly. TRIM and SMART are supported by MacOS Big Sur. Fourth, I installed my WD Blue. I think it is the 570 or something and tested it with the Disk utility tool and it was recognized; some people say it doesn't work well, that's why I bought the XPG Fifth and this will depend on you: I wrote about some dude using the HP EX900. Doing a little bit of research I found that SSD or at least the nands is "made" by BIWIN. Some dudes on Reddit (yeah, good source) say BIWIN ssd are bad but do not take my word, since this "research" I made was kinda lazy. So yeah, I hope anyone having the same doubts like me can have a little bit of knowledge from my words. Have a nice day, everyone and thanks OP for answering my comment.
