Good movie, although ominous. The elders' wanting to protect society from "reality" reminds me of governments trying to "protect" people from "misinformation and disinformation." Who fact-checks the fact-checkers and who gets to be the arbiter of truth, and at what point does restriction of information do more harm than good. Trust in people like Jonah to do the right thing.

The Giver brought me here again. It’s been many years and humanity needs to be reminded of love, peace, harmony, hope and faith.
