the last meeting between Uthred and King Alfred is a masterpiece of humanity. The love story between Uthred and Aethelflead is the most beautiful one I have ever watched. It's a story about loyalty to and against all. The whole story is topped with a stunning soundtrack ! Actors are excellent !

As a European watching the first season i always wondered why they get so close to each other while talking. Especially some scenes with Ciro and Genny they were so close to each other while talking they would almost kiss each other. It made me chuckle 😂
