If you listen carefully you can hear that someone sings the song to the rhythm of the music, I mean, hums, but I don't know if it's Wei Ying or Wen Ning
it was Lan Wangji who hummed, and that's why i mentioned in the title that this is their duet ☺☺
😢 i feel like i'm living in the past since most of the comments are from years ago. anw, i can't seem to continue reading i'm on book 4 but my heart aches so much for Wen Ning. Remembering how he died and pitifully so, like he doesn't deserve that!! Also, Wei Ying is arguably the most just and equal character I've found in this book. Or maybe because he resonates. Aaaaaaahhhh i hope i can talk to someone with this!!

I don't know if you watch the Untamed before the animation, but let me explain the WangXian Song. First, there are three version of the song: -for Audio drama, the song is called Wang Xian -for Animation, the song is called Xian Yun -for Live Action (the Untamed), the song is called Wu Ji These three songs/ versions share the same purpose and is used when WWX tried to calm Wen Ning respectively in each version of MDZS; and these songs are the melody when LWJ hummed to WWX in the cave. And yeah, if you want to listen, go for it. The three version are really touching.
HWARANG is one of the best kdrama of all time. I didn’t notice this guy on one drama I’ve seen him on but HWARANG made me know him better when I saw him on 100 day my prince I recognized him asap
