Hmm I thought he said it was all about Jesus. But then all I heard was do do do. Seek an encounter, be fruitful, step out and claim Gods promises. What about Jesus? What about the gospel? What about Jesus's finished work on the cross because I am not enough and He is? This sermon about living a blessed life is confusing, burdensome and full of self. If you have listened to this sermon and don't know what to do with it, take your rest in Jesus's and his finished work on the cross where he died for your sins to bring you back into right relationship with God and if you repent and believe in the gospel he will be faithful and forgive your sin and fill you with His Holy Spirit who will walk with you daily and help you live your life through the good and the bad. Be blessed in the gospel of Jesus.

This talk is not teaching the bible. This is classic false teaching leading people to dangerous territory and there was no gospel, no Jesus and basically he gave no hope. I pray God opens the eyes of people sitting in this talk to the real hope they can have in Jesus who came to set them free. If you go to this 'church' flee! Run now and don't look back!

Its interesting that this guy has taken scripture referring to Gods providing a sacrifice and made it all about money. The statement “on the mountain of the LORD it will be provided” (verse 14) refers to more than Mt. Moriah-it also refers to a hill called Calvary, where God “did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all” (Romans 8:32). Abraham’s faith-filled statement that “God himself will provide the lamb” is a companion to John the Baptist’s exclamation, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). Jehovah-Jireh provided a sacrifice to save Isaac, and that action was a foreshadowing of the provision of His Son for the salvation of the world. Its sad that pastors make such precious promises God has made to us all about finances and what He can do for us if we are faithful in giving the tithe. This is the state of a lot of the western church today and its very very sad.

On-line church has it's benefits. It's good to be able to pause and go over a comment or double check the verse. Pre-service prayer was a bit quiet, but it takes on a special element because there's only The Lord here to hear it.
