Veganism is incredibly complicated, I like how intellectually honest you are while actually checking your tag when you thought of it. I was plant based for a while, vegan at one point. I personally think that the moral dimension of animals is very real, but difficult to measure, and difficult to enforce. They don't speak our language. I think for humanity to actually be 'able' take resourceful action in addressing wasteful animal practices, the human dimension needs a lot more work.. But even though the human dimension may need more work, it's still much more workable. I used to manage a grocery store. A higher up knowingly put a vegan in the deli, and seeking to understand the dynamic it was totally wild. But the thing is, in the deli he still had to throw away perfectly good calories at the end of the day when the expiration date hit... EVERY day useful resources expire. EVERY day more resources hit the shelf. (It never stops, like the mail!) I appreciate your real approach to expression on a difficult topic Craig, cheers.

@@craigharrison1274 I once listened to a great audiobook called "Mind/Body Nutrition" by Marc David. It wasn't a plant based book, but sort of new age. He had an interesting principle of 'eating to the point of energy', instead of polishing off a plate. Sometimes he uses a warm water bottle on his stomach to faciliate blood flow for digestion. I curate my meals according to the energy levels, heavy meat meals and processes foods don't sit so well for me energywise right now, so I'm pivoting over to more greens. Food for thought I suppose, my dude. I can tell you're a real one, much respect.

Informationally speaking, if verified ethically sourced value is the top priority, then society becomes a sort of "welcome to hell" sort of situation.. You know? Plus it's impossible to be sure in all directions that claims of ethically sourced value are genuine anyways.
Been listening to this album for almost a decade. And today in 2023 it is just as powerful thoughtful and meaningful as it was when I first heard it. I'm grateful for that.

As far as car accidents go, yes accidents do happen..but real caution should be used while driving; tie down objects as securely as humanly possibly that you have on the outside of your vehicle; do not text and drive; do not drive drunk etc etc people don't know how in one small instance while driving lives can be changed forever. Mindlessness and false senses of invincibility are dangerous, dangerous things.
