how difficult to clean? especially the milk path.
Try better ingredients
Gonna try that this morning boss! Great idea 💡
Literally the same machines i have. Grinder going strong for 8 years and espresso maker still 4 years strong.
My grinder suddenly stopped working... any guesses?
@@avariesparrow8886 overheated
Man, get to the point. Video should have been 3 mins
For a mocha put some nesquik to steam with the milk!!
May be stupid question but what does launch mode do? Up the Rpm on the stall converter?
Is this for Z51 only?
I think this works for both Z51 and non Z51
😠 P-R-O-M-O-S-M!!
👏 wow, I feel like buying one now ! Thanks !
Mine is making a loud noise. I just unboxed it and it’s making a loud noise . I filled everything up as it instructed. What should I do?
They're noisy machines during the frothing of the milk , if it's really loud when brewing the espresso shot there might be something wrong with the internal components because they're not supposed to be loud.
long press the cappuccino button for 3 seconds to manually add more milk foam long press the latte button to run cleaning cycle through milk spout.
nobody mentions how you are supposed to run cleaning cycle after each use.
For the milk frother you clean the container and the tubes in the soapy water and run straight water through the pumps to clean the system.
@@josephbennett3482 I see you didn't read the instructions either... You remove the portafilter, empty the milk container, turn the frothing dial to 'clean' (6 o'clock) and long press the latte button for 3 seconds to run a cleaning cycle
@@TristynRusselo i didn't read the instruction manual because i don't have that coffee maker , i watched another youtube channel with that machine.
You can also hold the middle button down and get more milk.
Made my first cappuccino this morning and i was pretty impressed. I didn’t tamp the grinds down that hard. I’ve heard differing comments on what is the best method.
I just snagged one for $25 on OfferUp but its missing the filters and tamper. I managed to find a set for about $20 on EBay, so I’m in for $45 total. I’m looking forward to using it for the first time. Looks like a nice machine from the reviews I’ve seen.
Can you reuse the same grounds in the portafilter more than once and still get good flavor?
No , once you use the grounds you need to discard them because you risk clogging the filter if you use them more than one time.
Days of our lives
Hi, how many grams do you put in your portafilter?
I have one of these at home and will answer that - and the answer is "it depends." With Starbuck espresso grind, I can get 12 grams in the doubleshot filter. If I use Gevalia epspresso ground, it 14 or maybe 15 grams. It just depends on how fine the grind is.
Thank you For the review I’m going to buy this thing right now🤩🤩🤩
Good call. I use mine every morning and sometimes in the afternoon and its still works excellent
Did you heat the milk first, or the machine heat it itself?
I just pour it cold from the fridge and the machine heats it to super hot froth. It comes out perfect each time
I didn’t know we can add syrups and flavorings to the milk reservoir. That’s a very good idea although I’m hesitant to do it bec I don’t want any problems to occur....like clogging the machine. How long have you been doing this and did you encounter any problems at all. I really love the idea and want to try it.
I've been doing it for over a year, no clogs or any problems. I just wash out the resevoir every few days. The rest of the time I keep it in the fridge.
You can also hold the third button for three seconds or until it starts flashing. Yes I love mine too.
Should I turn my machine off after use? I really don't want to have to wait for it to reboot in there mornings when I'm running off to work
I usually make a drink for my wife and I and let it turn off by itself. But, I think turning off when I finish would ultimately extend the life of the machine. less wear and tear.
it turns off automatically; at least...it should. either way, YES.
Thanks guys. Anybody know how to rectify the issue of no froth? I've only had it a few weeks and I cleaned it thoroughly before the first use per then instruction manual, but I still have the same issue. The manual says the milk reservoir could not be cold enough but even after putting it in the refrigerator overnight it still won't froth the first several attempts. I have to put it in ther freezer and try it multiple times before it will finally work.
@@daughterofthemosthighking2975 It's a bad design and they haven't fixed it yet. My last unit was past the warrenty but they still sent me a new one. I'd contact them, ask for a new one. OR... buy the Philips 3200 LatteGo. Yeah, it's more $$ but it's fully automatic (push 2 buttons, it makes the entire drink) and it makes great latte's , etc... Unbelievably easy to use (empty the old grounds once a week; NEVER grind or tamp the coffee, etc...)
@@sicklecell9999 thanks!!! Looking the alternative up right now!! This process has been a headache and barely worth the trouble!
Love mine
For Christs sake... DO NOT BUY THESE MACHINES ! I am now the sad owner of my FOURTH one over about 7-8 years. This last one was purchased in Nov 2019 and now it's failing in late May, 2020. Unreal.... and every unit has failed with this crappy milk frother. I've had it.... this is a horrible design flaw and they haven't fixed it over all these years
You tell people not to buy these but you supposedly bought 4? Makes sense. You would've thought after it broke a second time you would've given up.
$9.00 a day x 365 =$3,285. The machine costed me $185.00 Deal all day long. I'm pretty sure that you have a point on a level, that being that all these super low priced machines will fail. its a matter of time. My wife and I were in San Diego all week dry camping and had to go to a coffee house to get our fix of Lattes. it costed 9 bucks each morning and I like mine at my house the way I make it better. I like my house and don't want to leave and stand in line and order or call ahead or whatever. There are so many models and price levels to choose from. Maybe its time to move up to a more durable higher price point. Wishing you the best!
@@Vv2legit2quitvV LOL... to be clear, actually I've bought two and they have sent me new ones twice; they just keep breaking.
@@sicklecell9999 Ah, that makes sense haha
My milk frother also failed after 1 year. However, I bought a $10 milk frother wand from Amazon, and problem was solved! Of course, I have to warm the milk in the microwave before for 35 seconds. I love this machine! I think that for the price, you get wonderful coffee.
do you get the latte energy?
I do. I've only had one guest at the house who needed me to do two double shots to feel good about his life ahhahahahh
