Great update review Clay, I gave mine to my oldest Granddaughter for her singing stuff she does. Sounds awesome on her voice.
Very cool Chris! I’m sure she’s enjoying it.
Great review man. And pineapple on pizza is gross.
Thank you sir!! NO ITS NOT!!!! 😂
Could you share your EQ settings? (I know, every voice & room is unique, but I’d love to know plz)
Will do! Yeah you can definitely use them as a baseline and then just adjust as needed. Let me think of the best way to share that with you.
dope review Clay
@@MSKH1970 Thanks MsK! I had forgot just how fun this mic was!
One of the better sounding mics right out of the box…great budget option!!!
@@levelupwithmikenewman It’s definitely a good option. Still can’t believe how good they sound raw!
@@TheClayAlanReview2024great video too by the way!!!
@@levelupwithmikenewman Thank you sir! Means a lot coming from you!!
I love this mic I will never trade it sell it But I do wanna try another brand but I will never give this one away
I forgot this microphone sound very good
@@kingpaco87 Same!! I gave the first one away but I’ll be keeping this one. Awesome sounding mic for its class!
Sounds great
Love the box
that is sweet
Took the boom out of your voice. I think it sounds perfect in the neutral position and no low cut filtering. imo
@@livestreamconsultants Same here!! That was my comfort zone!!
The actual mic case looks even better then the Memphis Blue case.
@@livestreamconsultants Crazy case man!! Has a home in my background now haha!
That box looks like it got sent through the USPS training class for dummy's!!! Hahaha
@@livestreamconsultants Hahaha for real man!!
Lol...i just did half a show using my webcam mic by accident yesterday when I thought I was using my retro mic.
@@BacktotheRetroReview Haha! Oops!
Catching the replay cuz i missed most of this
I really enjoy the energy of the two of you!
@@fennixshark2584 Thank you kindly!! We love what we do!! Thank you so much for watching! It means more than you know!
Sorry I couldn't make it. I went to philippine to visit family and los different times sorry
@@kingpaco87 No apologies necessary man!! Enjoy your visit!
No experience with the low profile boom arms yet. This does look like a decent one. I have considered the Vivo Low profile unit before. My current desk requires a larger clamp opening to be able to fit over a support bracket. I kinda need to rethink my space and get things setup to determine if I need(want) anything else. What mic quick connect are you using? Thanks for sharing
@@knowyourjoe8826 I feel like the clamp on this would work. It opens up pretty wide. You could always disassembling the clamp and bolting it to the desk? I did that with a monitor stand. The mic connect is a Gator Frameworks Quick Release. amzn.to/3Cquze6. This is my affiliate link
@@knowyourjoe8826 I like the Gator Frameworks Quick Release because it’s easier to mount and dismount mics and it’s a nice extension. I’m sure there’s more out there but I haven’t explored any others yet.
🎉 awesome 👏 video
This is an amazing boom arm. The versatility is amazing
@@BacktotheRetroReview Yes!!! Definitely in love with this one!
Big step up in video quality man. Love it.
@@CodedCrusaderFB Thanks man!! 💪
It sounds like you are using a noise gate or noise reduction.
At around the 6:55 mark I did turn on the “Rumble Reduction” which is a type of noise suppression.
Not bad on spoken word.
@@okay1904 Very surprising for the money!
I have a question about the Elgato WaveXLR USB microphone interface. Have you ever used it or heard of it?
@@kingpaco87 I have heard of it but never used it. I have heard that elgatos interfaces are very good.
Great review Clay.....
@@MSKH1970 Thank you!!
I can not comment on the sound, the speakers on my ancient macbook are really bad, The off axis rejection is really good. I suppose I should watch again with my headphones on . . . Sounds pretty good for a sub twenty dollar mic - I could make it work on some things . . .
@@redcabinacoustic-official I believe so as well! It definitely surprised me! It’s no show stopper but for less than $14!!!
Great deal on the mic
Indeed it is! Even without the enhancements and filters it sounds decent!
any idea how to add the vocaster to obs without the software? because my mic volume on obs is very low compared to when I am listening my voice directly on vocaster
@@marioj90637 If I’m understanding you correctly, you can pull the vocaster into obs and not use any filters from obs, yes. I’ve not used the vocaster by itself when recording, only as a source in obs. However, when doing live broadcasts, I do choose the vocaster as my audio directly.
@@marioj90637 I suppose you could use the vocaster separately and record that audio independently and then sync the audio up with the video from obs in post. Haven’t tried that yet.
which softwares you are using to make this video or screen sharing specially windows in separated mode although mention all softwares you use for making videos thank you for very good video this was useful
@@dragonm5650 Hey! So I use OBS to record all video and audio. I edit with Final Cut Pro on my MacBook Pro. Maybe I can make a video about all this next! Thanks for the idea!
Lol... love the ferris
The marvel eq looks like alot... glad it has presets
It is a lot! That's pretty much the reason why, when I use it, I only use the presets haha!
How can I turn off direct monetoring?
If you are using a Vocaster, it is impossible. May I ask why you would want to turn it off?
You do have the option to turn down the volume of your direct monitoring as a way of removing the sound from your headphones.
In win 11 the vocaster hub software dont work. :(
@@PeterZenBR 😲 That’s no good!!! Does the physical device still work on Windows 11?? The Vocaster is my favorite interface for the money! I’d be devastated if I couldn’t use the software.
Fantastic list! New creators are blessed to have access to all this fantastic tech at these prices.
@@DaveSoltura Very blessed! I’m living proof that you can have this tech and create with next to nothing for a budget!
Thank you for the review sounds good to me but you should do another review with the filters and the plugins but that All in my opinion and my thoughts but her view is awesome have a wonderful day
@@kingpaco87 Thanks man!! I just might do that!
Great review man. Fifine is just nailing it.
Yeah they are!! USB isn't really "my" thing, but for all who they are, this is a nice little compact mic!
That mounting method sold me. Subscribed.
Sweet!! Thank you so much!! Any time I come up with ease of access ideas I’ll make a video for it!
I want to start one but I get nervous and a freeze this is why I stream games only how do you break the nerves to do one I'm
Sounds good to me but I miss your live
I need one
@@CodedCrusaderFB For two XLR input or just one?
@@TheClayAlanReview2024 just one for myself
You're not the only one that needs one
thank you for sharing your video i'll see you in the next one
@@kingpaco87 You’re welcome! Thanks for the idea for the video!
Thank you, sir, for your help in choosing a microphone. I appreciate your assistance for the video. Have a wonderful day, take care, and see you on the next one.
@@kingpaco87 You are most welcome sir! I’ll see you in the comments!
Is this the microphone that you have that?It is on red FIFINE XLR Dynamic Microphone, Vocal Podcast Microphone with Cardioid Pattern, Studio Metal Mic for Streaming Voice-Over Dubbing Video Recording, Black-K669D
@@kingpaco87 The red K669’s were custom made for us by Fifine. Unfortunately, they do not make them for the market at this time.
@theclayalanreview4243 understand thank you alright, thank you for the information to bad. I would have bought it well. Thank you for the formation. I'm still waiting for your other videos. And when you go out live
@kingpaco87 You’re welcome! Kevin and I will be on live tonight in about 35 mins!
Great Choices ! ! ! ... 1 down and 2 to go! I have to complete the set! LOL. The G.A.S struggle is REAL !
@@knowyourjoe8826 Hahaha! What have I done to you?! 🤣
I like your top 3 choices. A lot. Have the K669D and NOW I NEED TWO MORE mics!!! Thanks Clay!!! LOL Nice comparison.
Thank you sir!!! Your opinion matters to me man!! Thanks for your support Joe!
😎 love the list
I just need some time for it to broaden!
Out of those I would have to agree with your list
Not a bad list.. lol
Mine is the Sm48, The podmic usb, Fifine am8
I’m curious about the SM48. Just saw one today. I had an AM8, loved it! Lent it to a friend. Might grab another one just to have it around.
A while back this was my favorite budget mic. It was slightly nudged out of that place by the K669D. I have not heard this one for a while and now listening to it again it hits me with that real WOW factor in the sound it provides for the little dollars you spend for it. Thanks for sharing. I NEED ONE!
@@knowyourjoe8826 Well lucky for you, they’re so cheap, you can’t pass it up! Lol!
By the way, the De S’er made the biggest difference to smooth out the full tone of the mic. Food for thought.
Yeah! I use that DeS’er religiously!
