Lost version of Sing. Sounds better than album version IMO. I've found it on www.souvlakispacestation.com/

Slowdive - Jazz Odeon (NOT "SONG 1")
This is real Jazz Odeon by Slowdive. Sometimes "Song 1" appears as Jazz Odeon but it's not. Actually official title of this song seems to be unknown. It was never recorded in studio or rehearsal room. This was recorded in 1991-12-11 in Brussels, Belgium.

*Its beautiful*
Love it
Simp poser ass sappy comments about an album that came out before these posers were even born yet. Pose harder.
Is it being a poser, or is it being appreciative of what would’ve been forgotten? Music is a means to understand what’s around us. So what if it came out before some people were born?
This is more depressing than Closer by Joy Division. But a masterpiece!
Actually it's officially called Jazz Odyssey.
I was the record production artist on this collaboration using the tubetech MP1A and thermionic culture pullet equalizer also I used the glensound 660 analogue dynamics processor on a lot of these recordings, i discovered slowdive when i was working on some of this stuff and they were influential to me as an artist and helpful to me as a person at that time. [Verse 1] I guess I didn't thought to tell you I thought the world meant somebody loved your sorrow There are songs you know that make me cry I thought the world would never die There are songs you know that make me cry I thought the world would never die [Chorus] I thought I saw a rainbow I thought I saw amassable [Verse 2] I guess I never thought to say I tought the world to never say I guess I should have leveled up I'm sitting up, you take my side I guess those words together leave me I guess those words together leave me [Chorus 2] I thought I saw a rainbow I thought I saw the future [Verse 3] I guess I never thought to tell you I guess the words could never see I know I'll never ever see you There'll be sorrow all the time And even though I'll never ever decide The stars that blind us sought to say And you know I'll never have to leave you
Incredible masterpiece.
Lyriks please thanks
ok..i'd never heard this before from Slowdive, so I had to look it up. THIS IS NOT SLOWDIVE. It's a release by Mark Van Hoen's project Locust, in collaboration with Neil Halstead on this one song! from the 1997 album Morning Light. (ok, I just saw the other comment about this after I wrote this, but I'm leaving this up! I absolutely hate mistitled, misleading stuff on RUclips. ANd hate even more when uploaders don't correct the title and description AFTER someone has corrected them, i.e. the other comment from two years ago, continuing to mislead people.)
saying this, I probably wouldn't have known about it any time soon without this being mis-labeled as Slowdive. And this literally made me dive into Locust's and Mark Van Hoen's entire catalog. so, cheers, uploader!
Very Blackgaze-like.
This is my happy place💙
i still come back to this
WoW! Teh most UnSlowdive track of theirs I've heard! Still like it though!👍
Typical, thought provoking, yet calming ,beautiful Slowdive, Thank you man👍🎶🎵💙
This song feels like swimming before and after
10/10
Simplemente absorbente
These are the kind of songs i long to listen to while in bed drifting away as i stare into the ceiling
THIS shoulda been the final version. So very beautiful in it's rawness and with all it's graininess. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Oh my god this is my first time crying to a song
trendy ass twatster comment. You weren't even boring when this album was released, poser. Pose harder.
So played out. You weren’t crying poser.
Cold
Slowdive in Robert Wyatt mode

I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG
I'm slow but I am dive
Changes
thank you! i love this so much :)
Peace is here 🖤✨🌠
Crazy how good the demos that this band made were. Goes to show you how studio interference can sometimes ruin the authenticity of a band.
However I do think that despite their growing popularity, the band has remained to its true self. Which is why I love them so much
This version sounds like music they'd play in an Ikea.
Where did you find this??
An ethereal experience
Turn that tremolo to the max!
id think It was a delay :0
turn that flute to 100
is that organ, synth, or guitar in the way back? regardless, beautiful, very talk talk-esque to me
Sounds a lot like an electric organ with a rotary speaker (e.g. Hammond B3 with a Leslie speaker, which is the classic combination).
guitars with rad fx. possibly later sampled and looped ( a la seefeel)
