Does Odie need to be S+ for this? I have him at ex 10, but no S+ yet. All the rest I have at ex 10 and/or S+ except for Antandra. Could this maybe work with Eirron as the 'tank' too?

Thanks a lot man this is really helpful. For those without Shakir invested/ascended you can use Thoran instead at least against teams without Scarlita. Fulfills the role of a secondary tank and does a lot of damage to the backline with his counter. He also makes the unit behind him (either Hewynn or Koko as seen in the formation in the vid) survive better.

I may be in a kind of niche situation as you describe, i am in the late game... however i lack a fleshed out tank. I got no Thorin, no Granny, no Antandra... my pvp team is Eironn, Arden, Igor, Damian, Hewynn. I can comfortably sit Top 50 in my server. Do you think my situation merits ulmus?

So lately I've been seeing a Granny, Thoran, Damian, Hewynn, Scarlita stall defense. The Top 1 player got there strictly through defense points; no attacking... He just strapped together a full Celestial/Hypogean team + Damian. You either get ulted by Dionel or, if you kill him, Scarlita mops up because you've got nothing left as Phraesto, Reinier, and Damian stall.

30:17 it's bad coding, if damian is used on this map, heroes do not go around the far side, somehow damian's presence is blocking them from doing so.

Who would you suggest me to use if I use smokey instead of Shakir and who for Hewynn? Cause my Hewynn is just Mystic

It is not a bug your Antandra whas like 10% hp and she get her out of the map like she has to do.

30:18 if you see the map tiles when you make a formation you will see that there is no way to enter those tiles than from the front, and all the tiles leading to arden were occupied by koko and hewynn so shakir didn't have a way to reach arden since movement is tile-based. Same with Antandra , when she jumped to odie (on 29:45)she ended on the tile back of him, there is no way out of there unless odie dies or moves.

Great counter! Magnificent strat btw: build entire different team for attack ONLY, spread resource so thin JUST TO win on attack, just so they can do same on you as you have same defense team XD 10/10 recommend for f2p players and low spenders as it is very "easy" to achieve. You can counter them guys, don't worry! you only face paragon 1 or 2 by the time you get the team up and running lmfao!

27min mark Antandra's actual hp reached about 20% ish mark on the bottom right, she took dmg through the shield I suppose, as to how, I don't know

Does the same team work well against the line you have on defense ? Thoran Eironn Damian arden carolina is far easier to asemble and more common on defense than the scarlita line
