Ethiopian Community in Rome Celebrates Christmas Eve
On January 6th, the Ethiopian community in Rome came together to celebrate Christmas Eve with joy, prayer, and cultural richness. Rooted in the traditions , the evening was marked by vibrant hymns and the sharing of injera and doro wat, symbolizing unity and gratitude.
This sacred moment reminded everyone of the universal message of Christmas: hope, peace, and love. Despite being far from home, the Ethiopian faithful recreated the warmth of their homeland, highlighting the beauty of preserving traditions in a multicultural world.
Wishing all Ethiopian brothers and sisters a heartfelt "Melkam Gena"!
