Hello people of the Internet,
I am Ben, a 26 year old student from Cologne Germany.
At age 11 I started playing guitar and since then the music never left me.
I take Influence from a lot musicians: John Mayer, Keith Urban, Eric Clapton, BB King, Albert King, SRV, Philip Sayce, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Derek Trucks, Robben Ford, Mateus Asato and of course all those talented players here on RUclips!

Here are 3 easy Licks in the Style of ,,Fire On The Mountain" or ,,Queen of California" I saw John Mayer play on different occasions. All use the same Key/Scale and are a lot of fun to play.
Fire on the Mountain is a great Grateful Dead Song to study, since it is rather easy and it's pretty much a Jam Song, because a lot of stuff works. Just make sure you are hitting those Chord Tones and you're not just noodling through the Pentatonic Scale.

Do you recognize any of these from the Masterclass? I would really recommend trying to put them together in some sort. If you want them to be part of your vocabulary you need to play around with these, preferably over a Backing Track. All the best, Ben
