FOR PARENTS! How to Save Money What to Expect at Universal Halloween Horror Nights
Thank you for this thorough review. I understand you had a club level room but what type? club 1 bedroom ocean view master suite?
Of course! Yes, our room type was the Club Ocean View 1-Bedroom Master Suite
Are three nights enough to enjoy a quick vacation to Cap Cana Ziva
Oh yes! It would be great if you can stay longer, but we were only there 3 nights & loved it
Doreen
How do they police who has access to the club level areas? Also, are they constantly checking ID's at the Zilara side? My 20 yr old daughter looks quite young?
As for the Club question, they can check that based on your room number - I believe we showed them our room key to get into the Club areas but it may have been a bracelet - I've forgotten that detail, but they do check. As for going to the Zilara side, I'm not sure I have a great test case of that for you - my husband and I just easily walked over to the Zilara side & no one asked us for ID at all - but then again, it's pretty obvious that we're over 21 :) ....so it's possible that someone would have stopped us if we looked much younger - because the 2 resorts are so close together, I feel like they must have people on the lookout for new faces on the Zilara side - sorry I don't have a better answer for that one
What is your honest opinion of the comfort of the sofa bed? Usually you can feel the coils in your back. I wouldn't want to spend all that money and have my teenager be miserable all week!
I had to ask my daughter about this one b/c she's the one who slept on it :) She said it was good - she didn't feel like it was uncomfortable. It's not the type of pullout bed that has a bar in the middle - it's actually made entirely of reconfiguring the couch cushions like a puzzle - we couldn't quite figure it out the first night, but housekeeping did it for us & after that it was easy. I hope this helps!
Going there next week and your review is really helping kind of mentally organize our trip. Thanks!
Oh I'm so glad! Have fun!!
Hi there! How did u book for the Club level? If we choose the name “club ocean view junior suite king room” are we gonna be in the club level? Thank you
Yes that's all there is to it! Nothing else you need to do :)
I doubt it, only 4% of the population is watching the trash Olympics.
And why nobody likes the other airlines, I like to choose my seat as I get on.
I totally disagree - I hate fighting for my seat on Southwest - it's stressful - much prefer to already know where I'm sitting
@@epicmomstravel and having no control over who you will be sitting next to? When I’m boarding the plane especially in B group, I look where and who I want to sit by. On other airlines I am stuck with whomever is in the seat next to me, it could be a person hacking up a lung, hadn’t bathed in a week and I have no choice. I don’t like that at all!

Haha😑
I've seen sinks like these in the UK and Italy, not just France, but its definetly a cool way to do it! ❤
yes you're right - lots of European countries have them!
Hi Kelly, we’re looking at an all inclusive for 10 people, 5 kids. Ages 15, 13, 10x2, and 8. Do you have any downsides to this resort for that age groups of kids. Parents are pretty mellow, not looking for any kind of excessive night life.
I think this resort is likely a good fit for your group...If you want to go beyond the on-site activities, though (depending on how many days you're staying), you might consider planning a nearby snorkeling/sailing excursion for everyone - they are easy to book separately - we did this at one of the other Punta Cana resorts & it was a highlight of our trip - I featured it in my Finest Punta Cana video, if you want to take a look - LMK if you have other questions - happy to answer!
I'm not sure I caught it...Who were you traveling with? lol. Thx for the Vid.
Traveling with my husband & teenage daughter :)

Beautiful and very clean resort….food…. Not good… MERCADO BEST CHOICE, boring vacation…. Cannot compare with EXCARET in Cancun, Mexico
Appreciate you sharing your experience!
do the rooms here or in any resort have an iron to steam clothes?
yes most rooms at these types of resorts have regular irons, if that's what you mean - and you just put it on the steam setting
How was the food ? Can you provide a detailed review on the quality of food ? Confused between - excellence Punta Cana , finest and el Carmen
I haven't personally been to Excellence PC & El Carmen - but I'm happy to give you my opinion for Finest PC. I would rank the food as mid-high, compared with the other all-inclusives I've visited. The buffet was quite good, with a huge number of options - and everything I tried was good. I appreciated that Finest also included Dominican food as an option, which I didn't see at a lot of other resorts in PC. The sit-down restaurants and dinner show food had some standout selections - the guacamole was especially tasty - overall, I would say the food was above average. I have stayed at some resorts that had truly bland food, and this was not that. The food here had a lot of flavor & variety. However, I wouldn't put it in the "top chef cuisine" category. I hope this helps!
Hello thank you for all your videos, the they are all full with a lot of information, I really appreciate it. I am playing a vacation this June and I seen your others vidoes about Hyatt Ziva. Which one is better the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana or the Dreams Macao. Which one have the better food, pools beach, drinks, rooms, cleanliness and entertainment. Thank you and I have learned a lot with your videos
Oh thank you for your kind words - I'm so glad the videos have been helpful! All the resorts were lovely - but personally if I had to pick between the 2 you mentioned, I would pick Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. Have fun on your vacation!
Is there drink service on the beach on the kids side ?
My daughter is a teenager, so we didn't really hang out the little kids' area - sorry about that! However, I seem to remember that we typically just went to the walk-up bar to get our drinks at the other (big) pool. There may have been someone coming around to bring drinks, but I don't remember getting drinks that way.
Hello while there and in the area was there any iguana sitings?
There were some guys walking around on the beach, holding iguanas, birds & other animals
That persons legs 🦵 😂
promo sm 💔
How was the kids food options? I have grandchildren that like chicken strips and fries
They had a TON of food options that would be good for kids, especially in the Public Market buffet area. Everything from burgers & fries to Mexican food to salads to sushi to ice cream ...basically whatever you want
Great video! Is there any app for the resort to help us guide what and when is something happening like shows or kids paint club etc?
Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it! Yes - there is an online schedule for Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana that you can add to your home screen - visit hzcc.resortsbyhyatt.com/#/
You do a really great job with your videos. Use your hashtags for more viewers. You seem to have the same taste as our group of friends. We just got back from Finest Playa Mujeres. Trying to book a trip for 5 families and we would love to try Ziva cap cana. Couldn't believe the prices!! $$$$ I wonder if they fluctuate. Between Ziva and the other resorts youve been to, which did you prefer? We also have four teens in our group.
Oh thank you for the kind words! I really appreciate it :) Our family was divided on which of the 3 Punta Cana resorts we preferred - they were all gorgeous, truly. Our teen daughter liked Ziva the best; I also think Finest is a good choice for teens. As for pricing, I do think it fluctuates depending on the time of year & occupancy - but another option to offset costs is to book with points. If you're interested in learning how to do that, check out my free Points to Paradise masterclass - link is in the description.
Hi, planning on traveling in a few days🎉. Wanted to know what airport transfer you guys used and how much you paid for? Thank you
Hi! We actually booked a private SUV to pick us up - it was amazing - I linked it in the description - highly recommend! Happy to answer any other questions if u have them :)
@epicmomstravel Hi, yes we're are traveling on Saturday and was looking for a private pick up. Only there for 2 nights. Any restaurant recommendations? Trying to take in as much as we could in such a short time🤪
@@ye9439 Personally, we really liked Noodle & Thread and Tempest Table - have fun!
😂 for real!!
hahaha
Playing this while working, great music 👍👍👍
Me too actually! I agree, I love the music - so chill & perfect for playing in the background on a lazy weekend - makes me want to go back to this resort
Everyone I talk to says you dont need to make reservations for the a la carte, just show up when they open and you should be OK. Is this true now?
We were there in March 2022, so I can only comment on what was happening when we were there - but yes, at that time we didn't need reservations for a la carte restaurants, like the buffet. It was really only the dinner restaurants that we made reservations for - and I do think that was a good idea to just make them all the first day you get there, so you don't have to worry about it.
How would you rate the 3 Punta Cana properties you stayed at, we are considering all 3 and will have a multigenerational group with a 5 and 7 year old and 2 73 year olds along with mom and dad in our 40? thank you!
They were all very nice - I think it depends on what's most important to you - even our family was split on which one was the favorite. The Ziva Cap Cana probably had the most beautiful beach of the 3 & food was good. Personally I would have liked more of an ethnic vibe there - it did feel very American. The Finest also had very good food & the best entertainment of the 3 - the staff was phenomenal & did a good job leading activities. Dreams had a great surf beach & arcade - and the Villa we stayed in there was the best room I've ever stayed in anywhere. Those are a few thoughts - hope it helps - happy to answer more questions if you have them!
Beautiful resort, I can't wait to go back!
agree - we loved it!
It looks like a beautiful resort. The pools are stunning. Oh my that beach! It looks like it has everything there. Great review. Cheers 🍻
Thanks so much for your kind words! Yes, this resort is really a particularly spectacular one for sure
Are you thinking of booking a stay at the Hyatt Ziva in Punta Cana? LMK & I'm happy to answer any questions 😎
Great video! I saw your Finest Punta Cana one as well....both luxurious. What would you recommend for best value from the two? Good food, lazy river and warm pools are a must. And we actually prefer smaller resorts when we can. We've only done Dreams resorts at this time. kids 10 and 12. TIA!!!
I know this video is a year old…… we are booked here based on your video. Thank you 😊. They only had a preferred king swim out. Traveling with two boys - do you know if the sofa is a pull out. My 14 year old is 6’2 and he needs a proper bed.
So glad the video was helpful to you! I'm sorry, I don't know about the couch for that one - we stayed in a different type room - but I'm sure if you call the front desk they can tell you - have a great time!
Do you know if the king swim out pull out to a sofa bed?
I use to bar-back there for free drinks. Idk about now but the local MC club "the Deadmen" called it home. The upstairs bar played heavy metal. The bar didn't open until midnight
wow, yeah I think there have been a lot of band member sightings there over the years. You're right - they didn't open until midnight before - I think now they open at 6 pm
Come to Istanbul you are welcomed everyday to your hometown!!
we loved Istanbul!
Beach isnt swimmable. Rough waves all the time, red flags.
Hmm it wasn't rough when we were there - what time of the year did you go?
How f*ckin annoying
Stupid is as stupid does.
seems like you have a great sense of humor
I’m also going to one of his consents soon I can’t wait!❤️
Yay!!
Merry Christmas!! What an amazing gift!!
Merry Christmas to you too! it was so fun to see her big smile :)
I have no idea who the artist is but it makes me happy u made your kids Christmas!! God bless❤
Aww thank you! I had no idea either until she become a big fan :) so I guess we're going to the concert!
In miami I saw this
pretty cool, huh? i had never seen a tree like this before
Do you need to be a preferred memeber in order to have a butler?
I'm not sure about the Preferred membership - but we booked a Club-level suite & that's why we had a butler
Loved the video! Quick question, what time of the year did you?
Thanks! We were there in late March
That’s what I was thinking my box was gonna go through… but it gives me joy thinking that he’ll be able to unwrap it…😭 Edit: IT GOT TO HIM SAFETY 🥺😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
Question - deciding between Hard Rock and Dreams Macao - which one for a family with two kids 12/10.
sorry I just now saw this - I haven't been to Hard Rock yet, so I can't really compare the two - but if your kids are 12 & 10, I would definitely look into it, as I believe it's geared more toward teens - Dreams Macao is good if your kids are interested in surfing & arcades
My favorite ride is test track but I also enjoy Sorin (Srry for the bad spelling)
Test Track is a great ride too - it's my husband's favorite. I also do enjoy the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride ....but Soarin' is still my personal favorite :)
WARNING! I urgently warn you about a recent incident at Finest Hotel (an Excellence Collection hotel). During a room transfer, a bellhop committed fraud, charging my credit cards to the same merchant and taking cash. The management's response was unacceptable and acted like nothing happened. Exercise caution when considering this hotel. I recently spoke with a friend in a managerial role at a renowned international hotel chain and learned about the standard procedures for addressing fraud incidents. Typically, the protocol involves the hotel contacting the credit card company to verify details related to the alleged fraud. However, I was surprised to find out that the specific hotel in question did not adhere to this protocol and did not meet the expected fraud standards commonly seen in a 5-star establishment.
