Exploring the Theatre of Harold PinterThis course will delve into the remarkable work of playwright Harold Pinter, from the perspective of a working theater director who has staged nearly all of Pinter's plays and recently published a book entitled PINTER AND STOPPARD: A DIRECTOR'S VIEW (Bloomsbury Methuen 2022). Each class will focus on a specific play and will move from analysis of the script and exploration of background material into the possibilities for staging, casting, design and overall interpretation.
