After a short break, we're back in the shop tackling some fuel pressure issues on an 06 STI, sorting electrical problems with a Saturn ION Redline, and fixing a WRX air oil separator install gone wrong. We also tackle a downpipe install on a BMW M5.

Someone needs to tell that guy to change or wash his pillowcase look at his face
What cowards. Running like little girls
There's plenty of room on that body rail, just behind the rotted out section, for your hoist pad. Guys like you get off on crushing in customers' pinch welds.
that is why you use tectyl to protect the car from rust,i did and it's 12 years old and not a spec of rust on the body.
🐰
Why?
Hey Guys! Fellow youtuber here just down the road from you guys! I also drive a '24 WRX! Awesome video - keep em coming!
It might have a Honda engine from factory Let it rip
Show the car not these 2 dudes
No thanks
Man that really handsome blonde kid did something really amazing. Deciding to step back and let his boss look good on the camera instead of him. True heroism in my opinion!
And that's how you break a engine
Supercharged redlines were soooo fun to drive!
These were the American tuner cars when people were tuning civics and stuff in the 90s n 2000s
My high school car, stage 3 , 300+hp
the first mistake done is buy a subaru
Can attest. I have one and it is a blast to drive. The only things you have to watch out for is of course running lean and spark knock. But also cylinder number 4 can experience issues with thermal expansion.
Why y'all gotta kill a 2.5rs
Actually these head gaskets typically fail due to vibrations causing the gasket material to rub off. Subarus are very reliable, but there was a time when the heads sucked and everyone knew it.
I've taken apart dozens and dozens of subaru engines in my career and because I worked for a dealer a lot of them were first time tear downs .... lemme tell you the rust and the creak noise happens to all of them!! Lol. This video is fake news for sure 😅
May have been wrong, but that doesn't excuse Subaru from not fixing head gasket design too thin in spots. Never got fixed from the late 80s
What is with the threads on this motor? Bell housing bolts all messed up. The PCV threads were probably messed up too which led to the botched AOS. Could it have been exposed to something? I've had 3 WRXs and never seen anything like it. Haven't done anything with the bell housing or PCV on my VB yet though. I guess we'll see.
This shit is so cringe
Bro his hand was right there to cover the intake, why did he run
Ew he modding a cvt😢. Good work tho for sure🫡
same person who got rod knock in less than 3 years tho lol
What about the broken bellhousing bolts? You gonna send it without them or you gonna drill them and repair the threads. I run into this all the time and made a drill guide out of an old bellhousing I cut off a 5spd trans.
@@averagejoe6084 it ultimately depends what the customer wants to do and which ones break, some don’t want to pay for the extra time and some do.
@@VendettaPerformance Those looked pretty bad, would welding a nut on the stud be better than the induction heater?
@ when they gaul like this nothing really helps. It’s a chemical bond between the two dissimilar metals (grade 8 steel bolt and aluminum block) so no amount of heat seems to matter
Dude looks like hed rather put the water down and pick up a meth pipe instead.
are sti 90k or 100k for the timing belt?
great content!
Makes me miss my 06 STi. It had a garret GT30R and supporting mods. TopSpeed did the build and the tune. 450 HP and I beat the hell out of it for 9 years. Ringland failure my ass.
First 2 dudes are clowns
These 2 dudes huffing paint or glue?
Brake kleen
This hurts so much i can’t watch this poor car go through torture
Theres 3 different run aways all in 30 seconds
Never thought I'd see my boy Cleetus McFarland finally on RUclips.
Whoah whoah don't go heavy on grease or oil on bolts especially head bolts will be overtorqued and could crack your block!! Your adding matter into a tight space and when Torqued the pressure has to go somewhere
It’s a Subaru, it makes no difference how you install the head bolts… it’s going to blow a head gasket anyway
I fuck knew the comments weren't gunna be worried about the bottle cap😂😂😂😂
New bolts
What car is this?
Subaru Impreza Gc8, they’re quite desirable sucks that they’re doing this to it.
@fnbshadow1060dude you have no idea what you’re talking about, it doesn’t “suck that they’re doing this” at all. This gc8 is an absolute rust bucket piece of shit. And they’re going to resurrect it from the dead. That motor isn’t turbocharged either, and they made the video exactly to trigger retards like yourself.
No matter how you do a Subaru, it’s still a pile of doo doo.
Really interesting 😊
That's like a mechanic kindergarden lesson: "head bolts are always torqued lubed".
Thats what happenes when you have a man do a woman job!🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀💀
You sound f****** stupid
Here in reality we all know subaru builds trash cans on wheels 🤣
This is exactly the dumb shit that my daughter's boyfriend would do, fucking teenagers
I like how a real mechanic had to come in
With all that lube wouldn't you end up overtorking
Out of all the cars I've had, Subaru's are the most unreliable, the most consuming, the most expensive, and most labourous cars I've owned.
Wait, wait. A Subaru motor blew a headgasket?!
