First, that story was definitely added later--scholars have proved that--so it's disingenuous to pass it off as having been part of the gospel. Second, you have ZERO understanding of the story. The woman alone was brought. She legally couldn't be killed, according to the Torah. Not without the man who she was said to have been caught with. Any Jew understands that. Additionally, when "Jesus" asked about the first to throw--that would have been the person bringing the accusation. IF that charge was proved wrong, that person would get the punishment, in this case death, they sought for somebody else. Again, any Jew would get that. It takes a Christian to totally screw up the story into some feeble representation of grace and mercy (which we know God never granted to anyone) of "Jesus" while he could be seen as VIOLATING the Torah. Had he done that, he wasn't your sacrifice for "sin". The point of this story is to remove Jesus from his JUDAISM. Christianity has been anti-Semitic for a very, very long time.
