You are clearly a big Dexter fan, just from your excitement in the intro. So i'll just say, the original Dexter books are really really weird. But i like them a lot. Just fair warning, they are a little bit supernatural. But i think other than one book, it works. And the books have some great villains. Doctor Danko is the best. Always thought it was a shame he never appeared in the show. So who knows, maybe he'll be in Original Sin one day.

I think this is just only going to be a miniseries and not a long-running one on Paramount Plus.... I am predicting that Sarah Michelle Gellar's character is the main villain and Dexter probably ha6ve to solve the crimes. I have never seen the main show before so I don't think her character carries over to the original series.... Question: Could I watch this series first before the main one since it's a prequel and I don't think it's going to spoiling anything.
