@abelireviews is there any better way of earning money without actually using my own ship? I legit make money faster this way than any of my other gameplay loops, but i refuse to engineer my shit

@RovingTroll I feel you with regards to engineering. Not using your ship is any interesting challenge. Since you’re already experienced with ground conflict zones, you could continue to use Apex Interstellar taxi services to travel between stations and settlements. Then you could accept on-foot missions in the bar like bounty hunting, courier work, or salvage operations. If you’re looking for something less mission-focused, exploration activities such as scanning settlements and biological sites can yield valuable data to sell at Vista Genomics. Alternatively, you could join other players ships in multi-crew sessions as a turret gunner, fighter pilot, and share profits that way.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Elite Dangerous can be a significant time investment, and it’s easy to feel conflicted about diving back in. In our opinion, the game is still worth it in 2024, especially considering that Frontier Developments has introduced and announced significant updates. Powerplay has received a comprehensive rework. At least four new ships have been added. The Thargoid invasion has introduced new gameplay elements and challenges. Looking ahead to 2025, player-driven colonization of the galaxy will also be introduced. Ultimately, it’s your choice whether the game is for you and whether the above updates are of interest. @@abelireviews seems like it expects me to hit the settlement AND the nav beacon on all assasination missions, unless im missing something? Dscan doesent seem to work.

This is the usual process. Go to the system in the mission brief. Scan the Nav Beacon. This will update your mission details with the target’s location. If the Nav Beacon isn’t an option or the mission directs you otherwise, keep an eye out for mission-specific signal sources like “Mission-Related XYZ” while in supercruise. These will often appear after you fly around the target area for a short time. Sometimes, the target may be traveling in supercruise, requiring you to use a Frame Shift Drive Interdictor to pull them out. Be patient. Locating the target can take time, but each clue in the mission briefing points you to the target.

You’re on the right track. Staying in the blue is a great first step. Eventually it gets easier and increasing and decreasing your speed becomes second nature. But starting out keeping your speed in the blue is a great way to maintain mobility.

@@abelireviews where is the best place on the Hud to look to know which way to turn to find them again? the lower center radar? the circle thing to the right? Is there an indicator I am missing?

Has Star Citizen become repetitive and boring to you, or there is still a lot of things to do in it?

My spouse and I haven’t played Star Citizen since the very first alpha builds. Where all you could do was walk around your ships hanger. That said Elite Dangerous has not felt boring or repetitive and we still enjoy it.

You might want to connect with Support. Although it’s possible your issues stem from the differences between Xbox and PC.

We haven’t played Star Citizen yet, it sounds like they are making some great progress, and have more to come. On the Elite Dangerous, side it’s exciting to see all the updates in the horizon.

Elite Dangerous scratches a different itch, especially its Galaxy and multiplayer.
