I too was a recipient of psychiatric abuse and I totally agree it is senseless. No one asks to be born. It is up to the family to make sure that the childhood is the best years of one's life. Psychiatric abuse obviously mars this!

Psychiatry is making people sick, they are killing people all over the world. Taper slow but get off these brain damaging drugs. It won't be easy but it's worth it to get free of the drugs and of the labels. Peace.

I'm still stuck in the system. [age 30] It started with my foster family & the school system. Once they declare you "ill", that's it. No more human rights, no second opinions, no legal recourse. You either agree or you're threatened, segregated and stigmatized until they can coerce treatment out of you. And if they have achieved that, it's seen as error-less proof that you need to be "trained" and "converted", & that your rights need to be suspended. Fascism is not a science.

I lost 4 years to wrongful psychiatric detention and abuse in the system and a Magistrate deemed it abuse and released me. I am currently trying to work out if its possible I underwent electro shock therapy and completely forgot the experience., I was transferred from one facility to another which I remember but then there is a massive blank area in my memory which makes the whole recollection hazy. Thanks for speaking out
