@gogogitarista No James Hetfield's idol was and always will be Glenn Danzig. Cliff Burton though on the other hand his all time favorite band was The Misfits and Samhain. Cliff Burton was the one who got the rest of the band into the Misfits.

Hey the Misfits had a drummer named Robo. Did you actually know Earth A.D. / Wolf's Blood was two different albums pressed on a single 12 inch.? Basically over blown double sided EP. Glenn poorly produced all their stuff too. He did not want to waste money trying to polish up Jerry and Doyle's lack of skills and knew it was useless trying to get out of tune guitars to sound good also them playing out of time and key with each other. 2022

When Glenn disappeared he had climbed off the stage and went outside waiting for the other 3 to finish their noodling around on Guitar and bass at that show. ive heard the newest one december underground and didnt like it but i like sing the sorrow and very proud of ya so i will prob like the others.they are quite overpriced around here tho compared to other cds so it will prob be a while before i have all them
listen to all of them and judge for yourself dont let someone else tell you what the best album is I enjoy all afi new and old they said in an interview we dont wanna play punk rock anymore its boring to do the same things over and over props to them for doing what makes them happy

I just gotta say I really liked AFI when they were actually playing punk, but now I have to agree they are emo now. They are like crap punk/emo now.They may not be talking about how sad their life is and wanting to cut themselves, but they aren't punk anymore. Just as Tiger Army isn't psychobilly anymore, they used to be, but thanks to Nick 13's friendship with Davey they aren't anymore. .
