Take's Bluegrass Channel
Япония
Добавлен 6 сен 2021
This channel attempts to do what other channels of mine do not. More specifically, it helps connect the world through bluegrass music. The channel posts videos that have captured jam gatherings worldwide and interviews with people participating in them. It also carries videos where Take, the host, talks about anything on bluegrass. The channel also deals with the Bluegrass Events Calendar and a few others. We greatly appreciate your support. :-) Take

that dialogue near the end! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
great harp! good tune! good sound!
This should have been a hit
Fabulous band that got caught up in a competition with Peter, Paul and Mary. Yes. They were better and more true to American folk music.
Would it be possible, for you to upload their song called “Just a rose”! Thank you!
HI, Caseylittle. I'm sorry I don't have that song. :-) Take
Is Fred Spencer playing that crosspicking guitar for the kickoff? Do you or anybody know who played the crosspicking guitar on the versions of Wild Wood Flower from the Skaggs and Whitley album "Second Generation"?
Hi, Jordan. I'm not 100% sure, but it's Keith himself who is playing the lead guitar. He is a hot guitar player as well. Hope this helps. :-) Take
SURE WILL MISS THESE MEN
Vassar’s fiddle work is so unique
I love this song! But why is it not on Spotify in the UK?!?!
Idk who im listening to but this stands right aside any 70s southern rock. Cool song. Thank you for all your uploads.
Great song: Was recommended to me by Bobbi Hickman--a "Tennessean"
Great tune
I bet this really spoke to people when it dropped in the depths of the depression
BEAUTIFUL SONG AND AMEN LOVE THIS SONG GOD BLESS YOU ALL
A forgotten treasure. Thank you for sharing.
Does it say in the liner notes if Larry Sparks wrote this tune? I love it. Can't find anyone else who plays this, so I assume it's his.
Love this entire album and this song especially. Thank you Take!
I really appreciate this. He was my uncle.
His voice absolutely slays me
Good stuff!
Thanks to Billy, I'm listening to this and WOW!!!! GREAT song by both GOATS❤
These fellows had a fine group. It's a shame they didn't get to record more.
My dad Fred Pike is playing the banjo
Ralph

Question is how does this only have 12 likes smh, what has the world come to loo
lol
You can put a fork in that because it was DONE!
How in the hell do you play all these instruments this well at his age? I love this song.
Awesome stuff... CW
Just how many times has this been recorded and by how many different artists????
They are truly the greatest ever!
Wow, this brings back memories of my Dad Fred Pike
This is the original. Written by Alan O’Bryant.
Wow, Clarence was maybe 17 or 18 years old when this was recorded.
Original cut. I love it. Mom has this on a 45.
than you, i remember listening to this while doing chores fifty years ago
Hi, There! We would like to use this track for a musical project we are working on and would like know who we can get permission from. Who do the licensing rights belong to?
Alan umí,bravo

この哀しくも強く訴えかける歌詞と曲が今の世界には濃く染み入る。この唄に出逢えて本当に良かった。 知ったきっかけ淫夢だけど
I hope to catch some bluegrass in Japan in late December when I visit!
It's good to hear from you, Flatpick OM! If you're not familiar with the Japanese bluegrass scene, I'd be happy to tell folks in charge at live houses that you are visiting their places before hand. Just let me know when you have decided which gigs you are going to attend. :-) Take
I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG
Chec
These fellows had a good and underrated band.
And I think there's a good chance that is Paul Warren on fiddle. If it's not Paul it is Benny Martin.
Thank you so much, Eric! I think it's Benny. :-) Take
@@takesbluegrasschannel6994 You're welcome Take. You may be right, especially if it was from 1953, it definitely was Benny Martin. Because I don't think him and Paul swapped jobs (so to speak) until 1954.
