Interesting that you mentioned stone chipping. This is the only issue that I experienced with my (3rd generation model) Swift, where the bonnet/hood was peppered with stone chips. I've just traded it in for a Swift Sport (mild hybrid version) and I'm having a vinyl wrap put on the bonnet/hood to protect it from this issue. Suzuki make great cars otherwise.
