لقد أولى الإسلام صفوف المصلين عناية كبيرة , حيث أمر بتسوية الصفوف , وأظهر فضيلة تسويتها , والاهتمام بها . فعنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رضي الله عنه عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : ( سَوُّوا صُفُوفَكُمْ , فَإِنَّ تَسْوِيَةَ الصَّفِّ مِنْ تَمَامِ الصَّلاةِ ) رواه البخاري ( 690 ) ومسلم ( 433) , وفي رواية للبخاري ( 723 ) : ( سَوُّوا صُفُوفَكُمْ , فَإِنَّ تَسْوِيَةَ الصُّفُوفِ مِنْ إِقَامَةِ الصَّلاةِ ) . وعَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ مَنَاكِبَنَا فِي الصَّلاةِ وَيَقُولُ : ( اسْتَوُوا , وَلا تَخْتَلِفُوا فَتَخْتَلِفَ قُلُوبُكُمْ ) رواه مسلم (432 ) . وعن النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ رضي الله عنهما قال : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَوِّي صُفُوفَنَا حَتَّى كَأَنَّمَا يُسَوِّي بِهَا الْقِدَاحَ ، حَتَّى رَأَى أَنَّا قَدْ عَقَلْنَا عَنْهُ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ يَوْمًا فَقَامَ حَتَّى كَادَ يُكَبِّرُ ، فَرَأَى رَجُلا بَادِيًا صَدْرُهُ مِنْ الصَّفِّ ، فَقَالَ : ( عِبَادَ اللَّهِ ، لَتُسَوُّنَّ صُفُوفَكُمْ أَوْ لَيُخَالِفَنَّ اللَّهُ بَيْنَ وُجُوهِكُمْ ) . رواه البخاري ( 717 ) ومسلم (436) . قال النووي في "شرح مسلم" : " قَوْله : ( يُسَوِّي صُفُوفنَا حَتَّى كَأَنَّمَا يُسَوِّي بِهَا الْقِدَاح ) الْقِدَاح هِيَ خَشَب السِّهَام حِين تُنْحَت وَتُبْرَى , مَعْنَاهُ : يُبَالِغ فِي تَسْوِيَتهَا حَتَّى تَصِير كَأَنَّمَا يُقَوِّم بِهَا السِّهَام ، لِشِدَّةِ اِسْتِوَائِهَا وَاعْتِدَالهَا " انتهى . فهذه النصوص واضحة في وجوب تسوية الصفوف , قال البخاري رحمه الله في صحيحه : ( باب إثم من لا يتم الصفوف ) , وأورد فيه بسنده عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ : مَا أَنْكَرْتَ مِنَّا مُنْذُ يَوْمِ عَهِدْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : ( مَا أَنْكَرْتُ شَيْئًا إِلا أَنَّكُمْ لا تُقِيمُونَ الصُّفُوفَ ) رواه البخاري (724) . قال الحافظ ابن حجر في "فتح الباري" : " يحتمل أن يكون البخاري أخذ الوجوب من صيغة الأمر في قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( سوّوا صفوفكم ) ومن عموم قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( صلوا كما رأيتموني أصلي ) , ومن ورود الوعيد على تركه , فترجح عنده بهذه القرائن أن إنكار أنس إنما وقع على ترك الواجب , وإن كان الإنكار قد يقع على ترك السنن , ومع القول بأن التسوية واجبة فصلاة من خالف ولم يسوِّ صحيحة , لاختلاف الجهتين , ويؤيد ذلك أن أنساً مع إنكاره عليهم لم يأمرهم بإعادة الصلاة " انتهى . قال الشيخ ابن عثيمين رحمه الله : " وقوله : ( أَوْ لَيُخَالِفَنَّ اللَّهُ بَيْنَ وُجُوهِكُمْ ) أي : بين وجهات نظركم حتى تختلف القلوب ، وهذا بلا شكٍّ وعيدٌ على مَن تَرَكَ التسويةَ ، ولذا ذهب بعضُ أهل العِلم إلى وجوب تسوية الصَّفِّ . واستدلُّوا لذلك : بأمْرِ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم به ، وتوعُّدِه على مخالفته ، وشيء يأتي الأمرُ به ، ويُتوعَّد على مخالفته لا يمكن أن يُقال : إنه سُنَّة فقط . ولهذا كان القولُ الرَّاجحُ في هذه المسألة : وجوب تسوية الصَّفِّ ، وأنَّ الجماعة إذا لم يسوُّوا الصَّفَّ فهم آثمون ، وهذا هو ظاهر كلام شيخ الإِسلام ابن تيمية " انتهى . "الشرح الممتع" (3/6) .

he's a great scholar, but let me present my point here, what for did Allah give us mind but to think is it not. The prophet PBUH prohibited women from wearing niqab during ihram, that doesn't mean all were wearing it, and that doesn't mean it was a compulsory at different times, its not been mandated in the Quran, or if there's a direct hadith let me know. Maybe some women were seen wearing the niqab during ihram and they were prohibited from doing so, that doesn't mean women are mandated to wear at other times. khalas. Wallahi let's not make our religion unbearable for our women.

There are already MORE THAN 3 or 4 HADITH proving that Prophet Muhammad was not so strict on Niqab ! That is MORE than enough for me ! I will answer Allah myself. Then Abu Bakar scolded the girls and ordered them to stop doing something that he said was of Shaitan............Prophet Muhammad CLEARLY told Abu Bakar after that that it was ok for them to continue singing and beating the Duff. But where is the deleel? Why would Allah make something halal to haram in hajj? If the Niqab isn’t allowed in hajj that means it is not fard. Just because it means that woman wore the niqab doesn’t mean it was fard.

Exactly. The face is one of the most tempting parts, just common sense, but people love desires now days. I do not view the opinion that jilbaab only without niqaab is permitted to be correct. Women back then were elite. Shaykh said it's haram not to wear niqab. Khalas.
