So beautiful. Every part was just wonderful.
Chills. Eons before their time.
Thank you very much for that 😁👍
Is this the gig when they played with Killing Joke and Wasted youth? If so I was there!
Lucky! That’s fucking awesome.
elden ring turkce mi oynanır amk PUAHUAHAUHAUAHUAHA
Harika yapmışlar
I was 17 when this came out and living with an alcoholic mother this song had deep emotional meanings and fears for me. Screams of vulnerability and insecurity all at once.
Damn bro he sounds like Homer Simpson in the beginning there it ruined it for me lmao
Remember this. They were all 4 fucking amazingly talented lads.
As someone who listens to modern extreme metal, this is the heaviest song of all time

Great gig, only a few hundred people, at most, in the audience as most in the bar/pub waiting for Buzzcocks. Bernard messed around with his home-made synth before they came on, trying to get the Insight sound right, - band came on to the Nosferatu (1979) soundtrack track 'On The Way'. Buzzcocks were great too - and the sound for both bands was good, despite the myth that the Buzzcocks deliberately ruined it for JD.
I'm one of those ignorant fuks who came across this song from the movie. It sounded so good and I ended up looking it up. Went down a rabbit hole and became a serious Joy Division fan. Wish they put out more work.. But with legends you get what u can
Better late than never 🖤
I first listened to Love Will Tear Us Apart years ago and now I'm getting really into Joy Division because I explored their music more. I do like New Order, but Joy Division was an entirely different beast altogether. Every album JD made was great all around. My personal favorite is Still.
Which movie?
@@robinackermann7711 The Equalizer it was actually a cover done by Moby I believe.
❤
O MIJ GOD THIS IS MORE HEAVE THAN THE VERSION ON STILL
Ian Curtis and Rozz Williams are my heroes ❤😊
The Rage, The Pain, The Panic. So Tragic, but its a Legendary song. One of the best ever made.
Awesome! Thank you so much for this. Spirtual...
Remarkable sound for a late 70's band, up there with Husker du for influencing and changing music.
I cried hearing this. I can say it is one of the most poingnant moments in music history ever since the time of creation and we’re hearing it.
VIELEN LIEBEN DANK...FRIEDEN und FREIHEIT...
Nothing before. Nothing after. Joy Division. 'Nuff said. (MMom, WRUW, 1980)
I watch maranatha, the calling of Jesus on U tube, their minds at peace as they pray, sing, Jesus himself would have been like Ian Curtis, a good mind tormented by evil non stop, If you look, there are such descriptions of Jesus in the bible, We can only guess at the wonder Ians future songs and music would have contained, I listened to Ian as a teenager, imagining myself lateras a singer of a similar band, I listened as most fans listen, understanding his sorrow as a reflection of my own teenage angst, having no concept of the real darkness and torment the man face endlessly, I only discovered that after finding my christian faith which also meant discovering its opposite, hell on earth. Never just dismiss extreme grief or meancholia as madness, its far more sinistre
It is said Ian was like a infection in a world full of evil, an infection of real goodness which immediately had to be destroyed before it became something that really threatened to take hold and grow and grow,
Siempre seré un Alien
Heartbreaking song pure real life
My favourite joy division track. The lyrics hit hard. I used to play this back in the late 90s when i was in a band. Every time we played it, it nearly brought me to tears. Powerful

it's beautiful how their voices sound the same live🖤
Çok kişi doldurmalı
ah be şanslılar sizi
I live this song, especially beacause of its similarity with Stooges song « dirt » in the chorus….❤
I love this song with an upper tempo, got that punk and metal feeling
The greatest record ever made. A masterpiece.
i was there. Intense doesn't do it justice. Raw, emotional and beyond music as most people will ever experience it. We lost Ian and got Bono, one of life's great injustices.
Of course it would be stupid to compare darkness and deepness of Ian’s poetry with teenager Bono’s first songs, but actually, who knows what JD would became with lan alive ? Not sure that New Order sound would fit with ian’s voice and attitude….
U2 has some decent songs
Haha. Bono was, WAS, awesome until he turned into a pretentious prick. Well, I guess he always was he just didn't have a big enough platform yet to show how much of one he is.
No you were not.
Are you seriosly comparing Bono with Ian? I mean I have nothing against Bono, but it`s just... not comparable... Ian was an artist, same as DBowie was, Iggy, the greats.
In 1980 I was anxiously awaiting to see JD in Toronto, I was 16. A couple of weeks before the show the local radio station broke the news. Best band then , best band I have heard since then.
We all grieved, but understand. Ian's epilepsy had accelerated to where only increasing barbiturates controlled it. He saw himself as a human rug in a hospital bed on a morphine drip.
@@phylliselizahb1041 Interesting comment, how do you know that ?
Most innovative band since The Beatles
Brutal
This is the vocal performance of a man possessed with a catharsis of emotions. It is hauntingly beautiful and is why I love live music. Martin Hannett was a genius in the studio but nothing compares to the sheer, raw energy of Joy Division on stage.
Ordaydım
if you want to leave anything behind it needs to be real anything else is pointless nonsense
The bass guitar is amazing!

The holy voice of Ian Curtis...
guzel konserdi
it just sounds apocalyptical, i can't explain
Capos 😍
The guitar sound is so beautiful.
