It just wouldn't let up. The thing with Devon is that Brian can't be in two places at once and only Cameron was in place to experience tor**re. It only happens in Brian's trailer. Overall, honestly a strong vn. It shreds me up. 1:13:20 Cam and Dev being there for each other during their worst moments is such a turn around compared to the Echo crew frienemies who never supported or forgave each other's faults. 1:20:50 Arches explains a lot of the paranormal stuff in the most clearest way compared to Echo. The mines is the source. The crystals in the town are actually found throughout the world. But the concentration of energy means things can get awry. The crystals feed on emotional energies. It isn't all bad. Jenna's grandmother for example. And Cam's mom. But the town has so much bad things occurring, that energy is consistent and warping. All that warped energy, that recorded trauma became the ghosts haunting the townspeople. It was Leo's broken heart, becoming the tulpa. It was Keith, the voice in Micha's head as he missed his childhood friend. It was Duke's wife haunting him. Chase's guilt over Sydney. It's such a cool take on ghosts and trauma. The trauma IS the ghost. Maybe if there was more positive energies, Echo wouldn't have been so haunted.

btw that egg at the end is very dangerous , dont interact with it in any ways , it spawns a mini boss called proggy progg and if it walks over your pikmins they will instantly die , it also unsprout pikmins that are still in the ground to finish them off

Jenna can be diplomatic, but she is frequently hummed out like the others and an occasional jerk. Especially to Leo. One thing the Phone and Runaway shorts show is how Leo was right about most things he said about Jenna. Flynn was right about all of them. And Chase is just a straight up lying psychopath through and through. Obviously Leo's behavior has been absolutely feral so far. But he's lashing out because of hurt. If you select the option in Leo's route to not snoop on the texts, instead of a later argument in the diner, Chae is willingly going deep french makeout session with Leo in public. So when Leo says Chase used to do that kind of stuff with him all the time, he's not lying. And no, Chase isn't different. It's just the route lol. Most of Leo's bad behavior is trained by Chase. Think about the inner monologue of Leo in the Phone prank: "I ruined everyone's fun." "I deserve to be treated like a little kid. I can't help it." "I would have been happy to see Jenna." Leo is full on puppy brain. He's trainable and loyal. He's just a big problem puppy with poor training. Because he has bad friends.

Coming back to this, the whole river scene with Flynn makes me feel like if Leo and Jenna, the "leader" and the college educated psyche student were more patient and sympathetic, and maybe even a little supportive, maybe they could have all avoided the river blowup. Of course Flynn is being difficult, but as the narration hints, Flynn isn't being sour just to be a jerk. He's uncomfortable and hurting. And his friends don't see that. Jenna sort of tries, but Flynn shuts it all down with his tantrum. 16:10 the awfulness here being that Flynn doesn't know why Leo thinks he has a chance with Chase. But stay tuned in to find out why in...1 month lol. 22:00 the out is mostly because those two routes take from the other routes the most. So doing those routes first means you will be having less of the pieces fully revealed to understand the impact of some of the scenes and references from the previous routes. Carls route feels isolated, but it contextualizes the family histories btwn Jenna and Carl. The Leo and Jenna routes contextualizes Leo and Chase's relationship, and Jenna's role as the agitator and directly fleshes out more of why Leo is how he is. But then when you get to TJ's route, you get the callback to Leo's route, but it's Chase that becomes the Echo crazed hysteria Leo. And that route also offers parallels to Jenna and Leo through Chase, where Chase is the central force experiencing all thet negativity and is on the receiving end of what LEO was feeling when CHASE was gaslighting and being manipulative. But it's worse in TJ's route, because unlike Leo, who was haunted by ghostd AND being frustrated by both Jenna and Chase, Chase in TJ's route has NO defensible reasons for why je behaves as he does against both Tj and Julian, the guest character. So giving you the option to opt out of TJ and Flynn route, allows you to play Carl, then Leo, then Jenna because those three routes help add weight and impact to the intended final two routes, TJ and Flynn
