We got in this 24” ge stack washer and dryer and surprisingly the bearing are good. It just won’t drain. So we test for power and then remove the pump to bench test it and. It’s bad. So the original pump is well over $140 and no one close had it so we decided to try a Samsung pump motor and it worked great. The ending part number was a -00054d I believe. Do you work on gas? I was thinking you would have to have LP and NG to really test both. When I take things apart that need to be indexed I either scribe them if they can't be seen or use a marker and mark both pieces. Control board last.
@@scotts4125 ahh that’s a great idea. A little mark goes long way. Yes I service gas units. I only use lp even with ng

Try installing the air bags under the viens of washplate, it will not flex as much and breaks loose quicker
@@fringeminority5676 putting them in between the raised veins of the washplate is easier. You can get it to bend better in the flat spots there. Then I try to wiggle and slide them toward the raised veins because that is the most rigid part and won’t flex when you start inflating the bags. I hope that helps some.
Great job man , every video that you posted , Learned something new from it .

Sometimes it’s due to a bad motor or bad bearings
@@coolrobuxgaming very true cool! Speed sensor fault is a tough one. It could even be suspension rods.
@@LAapplianceguy Most commonly if a washer does not agitate, or does not spin, it’s the actuator, but not always. If it does not spin out the clothes but it drains, it’s usually the actuator. If the drum moves back and forth, with a hum or click, that’s often a bad actuator or splutch. But sometimes the no spin issue is caused by things getting into the inner or outer tub. It can also be caused by a dead motor or locked bearings.

@ that’s great. It makes the job go MUCH smoother.
We have a Monogram and always run it on the longest cycle. It does take forever but cleans well. Stainless tub has sprayer on top for the third rack. They weld a clip to the top of the tub to hold the sprayer. I noticed something was always hitting the third rack when moving it in and out. The crappy weld broke and the sprayer was just hanging. I bought high heat proof epoxy and wedged a piece of wood in the tub to keep pressure on it while it was curing. Been perfect ever since. They don't list that clip so I am assuming the factory repair is a new tub. Genius.
@@scotts4125 we always run the long sanitize cycle at our house too. It just works better even though it does take a while. I’ve seen those clips you are talking about. I would imagine the whole tub would have to be changed. Which would not be cost effective I’m sure. Sometimes you have to think outside the box for those repairs. Thanks for watching Scotts
