Those letters are called Illuminated letters. It refers to the old style lettering where the first letter in a page was decorative and larger than the rest, and they were illuminated with Gold accent paint or foil. Yours are beautiful!

I’ve seen the circle cut out stickers used to put over dates on a calendar to highlight things like paydays, vacation days, etc. 😊

Absolutely do what brings you joy! I love the fun layouts that you have been putting together. Do you go in having an idea of what your layout is going to look like, or do you just start laying down stickers and go from there? I love watching you create. Your layouts are gorgeous. However, I hesitate ordering from The Pretty Pink Co. as historically her shipping times are ludicrous. If I were to order a Christmas kit, it wouldn’t be guaranteed to arrive on time to use.

I find myself hoarding kits that I love because I'm scared it won't turn out well or put off planning certain weeks for the same reason. And there's always so many extras! That's why I started doing destashes because otherwise I wouldn't use them but maybe I can start using them in a journal. Anyway this turned out beautifully 😍💖

This is so pretty! I am interested in seeing what you do. Just remember that your planning is supposed to suit whatever needs you have. I do wonder if scaling down on the paper size would make it a little easier for you. Less space to fill up. While I love the holiday feeling, I am ready for the obligation part to be over. I am looking forward to Black Friday shopping, but mostly it's the feeling of the holidays. And since Bub is more...aware...this year, we'll be able to do more fun things!

Did you ever figure out the balance between your creative planning outlet and not taking too much time because that's the boat I'm in right now. Also, I am learning not to feel bad when i let my responsibilities go for a few hours in order to be creative and plan because the creative planning time fills the tank. It's self care 🥰

While I will probably miss the weekly kits, your journaling/decorative kits are so comprehensive that I could try a weekly would them. But I say pursue the passions that you and your mom have. As shop owners, that input definitely has some value.

I loved this! Honestly, it's good when you see a creator mess up... but only if they show how they fix it, too. It sucks there was some difficulty, of course, but it helps to dispel the whole "this has to be perfect" thing, especially if you're posting it anywhere. So thank you, truly, for being real about it. You came up with something AWESOME. I've been struggling with weekly memory planning for a while now, especially since I took six months off and all the trends changed (to things I love, but don't have the new stickers to accommodate). But I've been decorating my bujo using PET tape and such for a while, and now that the community - especially Paper Trail Plans - is moving towards what I already do, I'm /extremely/ excited! As for purchasing from your shop, I intend to! I missed the early bird as I'm west coast, and 9 - 12 is a difficult hour for me. BUT THAT IS OKAY. I still appreciate any sale at all, and 20% is still great! I want to be careful about what I purchase, of course, since I'm still trying to figure out if I'm going to keep health metrics in my journal or just make it a "dear diary" journal. I must purchase accordingly! Seeing you use the thin strips on your charts/calendar was great, what a brilliant way to make use of them.

I’m glad that you guys are okay and not super majorly affected by the storm. Don’t put any more pressure or guilt on missing out on the Christmas. You’re definitely right that there are a lot of options in the market so don’t worry about that. Ummmm…excuse, who says that bold colors can match with a lot of kits? I personally love pulling in the bolder colors when they’re available because they create a beautiful contrast to the white of the planner pages. I personally love the chaotic voice-overs. It lets me see the real you. Or at least more of the real you. Beautiful as always. I so wanted this kit, but alas I did not have room. So I am living vicariously through this PWM
