You could just not have enough scadutree fragments they help a lot with defense

True! At that point I was close to +10. If your looking for some free fragments there are two hidden hippos and a bunch of basic enemies holding pots that drop them super early game!

Dude it was WAAAAY easier than any of the main bosses in the DLC but it was so pretty and the design was so cool I didn’t mind one bit

Will do man! The bell bearings from these pots just give you access to some of the mushrooms you need to craft some of the DLC items. Nothing crazy but a cool secret

Dude it really was! I loved that they had a fight that was SO different from all the other boss fights literally tucked away in such a hard to find place!

@@seamagician7042 Nah, we are somewhere as long as we wish to be, because we have the choice to quit. The goal is to not give up! 😄 I believe that's FromSoftware's goal with their games. While it's so challenging it is also so rewarding and that's why we torture ourselves.

Haha it really felt like you were somewhere you weren’t supposed to be! And the third phase had me feeling like I needed to do something different, nope, just turns out you’ve got to beat him 3 times haha

@@GloriousMischief it was pretty hard going at the start where I was mainly imbuing a sword with magic to do damage against bosses since I didn't have the capacity or damage to destroy with pure magic but as you go deeper, it starts to make things trivial and really fun

Dude some of those mid game spells make things hilariously easy. This run I tried to beat the whole game with no summons and just the starting weapons haha it was a slog dude!

⁠My first playtrough was as a mage & as soon as i unlocked Great Glintstone Shard everything was smooth sailing

You have missed a lot. 😢 DLC is packed, I've added 80hrs so far just in DLC 😂. There is one castle with 4 bosses in it 😮. What I find is Base game has more open space while DLC has more covered areas that are closer to each other. Ive found some holes behind bushes or ledges on the edge of cliffs. Explore all. ❤

@@senseishu937 Shadow Keep Castle. - Fire Boss - Weed - Boar Rider - Heard Hippo is in there too? * Also, 2 other mini-bosses that I've found so far. This place is really good to explore in. -- Also, a side quest too started by a 'key' item that you have to find. - Lastly, there is a path that leads to a coffin 😶... place there is solo only. Can you discover the entrance? Good luck.

@@GloriousMischief It is pretty amazing how well crafted this map is. Some places are solo only, but the rest is really fun to explore with friends. -- So far my favorite place has been Shadow Keep Castle -- Biggest discovery was the Fissure 😶. Really curious.

@GloriousMischief He dropped that eye and I fed it to Mr. Bowl Cut to get his sword, worked perfectly

Dude I accidently killed bowl cut kid by feeding him the darkness rune! Felt like a total jerk and had NO idea what I was doing haha classic Miazaki madness man!

Just the curved swords you get when you start the game as warrior. I just finished the game with them haha
