The series will definitely help in preparing for your exam but it does not cover all official exam content you would expect during an official training course. This series is to help you better understand the BABOK and how to study and apply it in your daily work. After our series I would recommend to study the exam guide and read the chapters that have the biggest exam weight to see if you understood all content and focus on studying the details of those chapters. On a side-note, we are preparing an official online ECBA training course that will go live end of this year. But not sure of you want to wait for that. Otherwise other vendors could provide official training courses as well.

Hi JW. Hoe gaat de studie dusver? Yes, we tried to stick to BABOK chapters so you should be able to track back the theory in case you want to read more about it. Specifically the details on BACCM per chapter and the stakeholders section we don’t always call out in that detail. I like your feedback to the other viewers for making notes as you are right. The series is about BABOK but we always want to add our “personal touch” from practical experience into the conversations. When I studied for BABOK it were often the practical examples what made the content stick better and could resonate much more. Good luck with the next episodes! Wow! That is truly amazing feedback. Unfortunately there is many paid content out there that is very poor quality. We are now working on a paid version of our own that covers 21 hours of content. We will post it here if it goes live.

We did not make a specific episode on techniques because we actually integrated the techniques into the various knowledge area episodes. Are there any techniques you are specifically interested in? We are thinking of creating a specific technique series. Did you pass the exam?

Hi, thank you for your question. Adaptive Approach refers to one of the methods you can apply to your project. "Predictive" which aligns more to the waterfall approach of running a project, with a clear linear path and sequence of activities. While adaptive leans more towards the agile approach where you work more iteratively towards an objective. Dependant on the situation the company is in (type of projects, industry and organisation) you might want to go for either an adaptive or predictive approach.

Adaptability is indeed not easy for everyone. It often ties to the way a project is run, e.g. Agile or more Waterfall. It's more part of the cultural aspect of a team and how you work together and therefore should be carried by everyone instead of just one person. Talking about it during retrospectives would be a good moment to address the topic and see "Why people might be less adaptive". Often there is a reason behind it that can be resolved by changing some elements of your BA and delivery process.

The line show that as a business analyst you can act on various levels performing business analysis, From more operational (e.g. as part of a software delivery project) or more stratetic (e.g. analysing market circumstances to find strategic opportunities). The numbers refer to the numbers 1 Operational, 2 Tectical or 3. Strategic.
