Yes! Almost every card on ePack is a real card you can get shipped home. Only the purple cards and the Evo (nft) aren’t physical. But everything else is physical and can be shipped home.

Sad to hear that the video didn’t make ePack seem more appealing. But to start, you’re actually not collecting a computer graphic. Your card starts as a computer graphic, but for 99% of products, the cards are real and you can send them home whenever you would like. For me, the advantages of using ePack are a few. First off, I live outside of Canada and the USA so I have no card shops near me so I have no other options for buying packs other than ePack or shipping in boxes. Another big advantage is the ease of trading and buying/selling. Trading on the site is instant. No shipping andNo wait time is hugely appealing to me. And, while you can’t sell on the site, you can use ePack Facebook groups to buy and sell, which again, is instant. No shipping or wait times. E-Transfer or PayPal and a trade for a digital card and you’ve got yourself a new card in your account. The last reason I really like it are the achievements and exclusive parallels. They add a new level to collecting that I really enjoy.

Ya, I like Neighbours as well. Not sure if you saw the little note in the video, but when I checked Daily Faceoff the first time they had Kyrou, and when I checked a few days later when I took the screenshot for the video, they had Bobby Thomas, so I think they’re still undecided. Could be anyone’s spot still!

I like it! So many options! I just hope the Sharks can break out of bottom spot. I don’t expect them to be the best team in the league or anything, but would be nice to see a little growth this year with some exciting players!

Ya, it can be tough. Gotta find what the people want. The Young Guns for Bedard is overproduced and seems to be quite expensive for how many exist, but the popularity of the card and the set are seemingly holding it up… for now. Give it time and maybe the /249 will be worth more. However, if they’re an unknown and not widely collected set, they may never reach the full potential you would like. Only time will tell. And ePack products are overpriced. I don’t use ePack to rip (in general I just don’t rip barely at all) I just like ePack for the exclusive parallels and achievements. They can be super fun. It’s also great for those who love the hobby but may not be living in Canada/USA.

Agreed! Boxes are a losing battle. Only very very few will be able to make their money back and even less than that can make money from hitting something massive. Wait for the gamblers to rip and do their thing and then buy the cards you like after.

I have to agree. Most players won't rise in price, but I have to think that one or two may see an increase. Will it be a $10-$50 increase like we saw from Jason Robertson a few years back? It's possible, but probably not. I'm thinking more in terms of add a few extra dollars to their value or even potentially double. I could see a $3 Young Guns got to $6. Or a $5 to $10. Something like that. But hey, if any of them use their opportunity to shine and become a star, the sky is the limit. You never know who the next $50-60 Young Guns could be! But yes, always buy at your own risk and do your own research as well. Prospecting is like box ripping a lot of the time... a losing battle. Just usually you can avoid 90% losses unlike boxes haha

Really?! I thought everywhere raised their prices. But if not, that’s awesome. ePack did end up raising their prices for this product so sadly my prediction was incorrect. But thankfully, their prices weren’t as high as most hobby shops so it was still a decent alternative.

It's possible that you're correct, but I still feel that with solid play, they can fluctuate enough to make them a worthwhile buy heading into the next season. I don't think I'll be holding many of the base Young Guns from 2015-16 onwards in my own collection, but to buy in hopes of moving at a higher price in a few months is still a decent play in my opinion.

To be honest, I don’t have a ton of knowledge on him. From what I can see from his stats he seems like a second liner whose cards wouldn’t be in line for a big boost, but you never know who could be the next to break out!

True! With his new contract he could be their plan moving forward. Always worried me though when they have another young goalie in their depth chart with Levi! Either way, they may both have success, just in different places eventually!

@@DiamondkillerCS very fair. I think some of the newer ones are overproduced too. As for the older players, Konieczny is one that I didn’t think of but could be a good play. Having just signed, his prices may have just jumped a bit but either way, not a bad choice. As for Saros, I put him in the same boat more or less as Fiala. I’ve bought and sold Fiala before. Great player. Always produces, but just gets no love. People love the “new” shiny toy a lot more than the older guys for some reason. If Fiala or Saros get a bump I feel like it’ll be small percentage wise compared to most of the players I chose. But again, not bad choices as all of this is definitely speculative. 🍻 And finally, for Power, I think he’s great, but I put him in the same camp as someone like Hedman. A great player. Going to have a great career. But if he doesn’t produce like Makar or Quinn Hughes, will his prices ever get to an amazing spot or even get a nice jump like some of the forwards we see? Again, it’s possible, but just may be tough.

Definitely not a bad one to speculate on either! Only reason I left him out, is if we compare Lundell to Neighbours, both being relatively similar in price, Neighbours is supposed to be on the first line where as Lindell appears to be stuck on the third line right now. Therefore, the opportunity Neighbours has to grow is much more instant and he could really end up being the next big star. Also, relatively speaking, as sad as it is because of how many great international stars there are, Canadians seem to get more love in the hobby compared to other nationalities… just the sad truth with it being such a large Canadian past time and cards being largely based in North America. But either way, like I’ve said before, buy what you like and you can’t go wrong! 🤘🏼

Super glad to hear you're enjoying collecting again! I think the hobby is moving back towards a nice place with some of the PURE flippers who are only in it for money are slowly getting weened out. I won't lie that I enjoy both, collecting and flipping. I look at sports cards from the point of view that I enjoy having them to look at, but also I can't take them with me when I go so I better be sure I can sustain my hobby via my hobby and hopefully leave my family something nice when I do eventually kick the can. But everyone is different and for me, there's room for all types as long as they're friendly! 🍻

@@flippinoutsc I never quit collecting. Growing up, there was something satisfying about completing a run and it was quite inexpensive and quite simple (Rick Martin, Perreault, Hawerchuk, LaFontaine, Lemieux were the five I focused on most then ) and now, Crosby has over 9,100 different produced cards and it makes it an impossible (and super pricey) task to duplicate that, so you just buy what you like and overtime, you have a very nice collection. It also helps that I am a Jeff Skinner super collector and nobody cares about collecting him. Ha.

@@flippinoutsc I have a couple of prospective Young gun collections on COMC as a bit of fun. Nobody special, just some prospecting . I was buying Jason Robison YG’s for $2 and had about 50 of them, then sold them all the way up to about $60 a go, so it adds a bit of spice to the season. For collecting I only collect Islanders cards, I’ll buy any game used or Auto for any player who’s ever played for them. I can get a collection of Bossy, Gillies, Smith,Potvin, Trottier and the rest of the cup winning teams cards with Auto for less than a Bedard YG. What is there 100k+ of them.
