Nah, the only hard mode is finding a good excavation squad that can do 5 rotations without the mission going FUBAR.
I remember when I first tried Steel Path. For new players I recommend getting Galvanized Mods from Arbitrations as well as acquiring a Kuva/Tenet weapon from either a Kuva Lich or Sister of Parvos, as that will give you the best chance of not getting absolutely mopped. Not dying though is probably more important than your damage on account of the massive jump in enemy levels. So for the love of all Tenno make sure your Warframe is prepared to deal with the massive increase in enemy damage. Shield gating and invulnerability windows are the best ways to not die, but this will mainly depend on the Warframe you decide to use. I do not recommend health tanking as it's a lot harder to do, though it's not impossible. If all else fails, I and plenty of other Tenno out there are more than happy to help, no strings attached. Happy hunting.
@TheCoLDKanadian I don't know how but I had steal path unlocked and never had even begun arbitration
@@mythicsnap594 They're both unlocked at the same time since they require the exact same conditions to access. The only difference is that for Steel Path, you only need to satisfy the condition to unlock it, but you can play it any time afterwards. For Arbitrations you get locked out of it if any new nodes are added to the Star Chart, even if you've played the mode before.

Why were you not using a lf team? You would have easily wiped
I took a long break and I have a very lackluster roster and even with the LF charcters I sadly do have they are very low star or are so old they just don't compete
