What a fantastic job you've done. Really amazing.
Any advice on your mix? Other things you use to keep it solid?
For the monster mud, I use a ratio of 4-5 parts joint compound to 1 part exterior paint. Once it's dried it's pretty solid. I haven't had any issues thus far and I have some statues that are 3-4 years old.

How heavy is she?
These are all amazing! What mix do you use for your mid? I did 4:1 but I feel like it isn’t hard enough! I was dipping a bed sheet.
I use 5:1 for thinner materials
How long did it take to cost the entire wig and let it dry?
2-3 days

The insulation noodles come in small, medium & large. Large was closest to the body, then med, then small

This is just awesome!! Did you just paint the cloth? How did you locket in place?
I dipped the cloth in monster mud and laid it on the skeleton. Once dry it stays in place, it hardens like rock

I used 2" foamboard but 1 1/2" will work too. 1"x3" wood for the framing. Gorilla glue. I used 3" screws and bigger washers to also help secure the foam to the wood frame after I Gorilla glued it. Heat gun & surform shaver for the stone work. Grey drylock paint & white exterior or just acrylic paint for painting it all :)

She’s beautiful! I tried MM last year….epic fail. I don’t know what I did wrong honestly. I mixed according to a video on YT. It was horrible to work with, super heavy, broke my frame, ended up getting peed off and threw it all away lol
Hmm weird. Do you remember what ratio you used for the jc to paint? I use MM often and never had problems

Hi Cheryl, Its almost Christmas and I thought a Mary and Joseph with Baby Jesus would be awesome. I even thought a pregnant Mary would be good. Everyone that does these are into Halloween but there is so much more that could be done for Christmas. I'd love to see you do that. ☺️
