I'm wondering something. is it possible to have the same instrumentation from the arcade game since the arcade game also uses FM synthesis? i actually experimented with that by using Deflemask and one of the built in demo songs. one of them being Ken's theme from SF2 the arcade. When i changed the module to MD, the FM sound/OPL channels sounded pretty much identical. the only minor thing was that the MD has fewer FM channels.

I love this. The fact you used the ST version's music makes me really happy. People always cover Amiga stuff while the ST version in some cases slightly differs to compensate for one less sound channel and PSG. In other cases they just create a completely different soundtrack for the ST version.

Hey so I had commented below potentially taking up the idea to learn how to use furnace or deflemask and was curious to know what kind of effects are possible? For example I’ve only used audacity and have messed with some of the preset effects on there, so can these chip tune programs do the same thing like stereo panning or phase effects?

Wow, I never knew the ST version had no screen scrolling. Game moves a lot faster than the Amiga version though (unless this video is sped up)

Sorry, but a cover of a substandard original MT version for microcomputers (btw, the Atari ST one was the weakest compared to Amiga one) instead of the full arcade coverage is a missed opportunity imho.

There is a romhack for double dragon, that replaces the sound driver with GEMS Version
