I wasn't sure whether I wanted to submit this run or not, but I eventually committed to it. This is a brutal category, so I'm going to take a break from it for a bit and let this run act as a "stepping stone" of sorts. Besides, I'd like to go back to Full Game Classic soon, and I'd rather not have anything get in the way of that. Hopefully I will beat this run someday.

WR as of 24/01/2024. I find this route strangely satisfying, so over the last couple of months, I decided to put some attempts in, just to see what I could do. This run is a small improvement over the previous WR - 3.918 by Xelna - but I still think it's pretty cool. I'm absolutely stoked with this run. There were some really stupid pieces of small movement here and there but overall I think I played pretty well.

This level is Stayin' Alive except you don't have to grit your teeth and hope you can stay on the beam... also there's less turning I guess. I believe a variant of this skip was originally discovered by linguini15? Correct me if I'm wrong. All I really did was change the setup pattern from the platform and try to go for a time travel. I was expecting to land a 26 or a 27 second time when going ...

Beautiful level with a ton of routing potential, I just wish the gravity surfaces didn't toy with me so much. I have gotten a 32 a few times using TAS, the only real change from the route being a low bumper hit straight to the second gem, which is really hard to control in real time. I also had some rough movement towards the last gem, so there is some timesave at that part for sure. I'm happy ...
