what are the indications for this procedure? Doees previous rotator cuff trauma that healed poorly qualify?
Thank you for posting this. I too am a violist and had my reverse shoulder replacement two weeks ago. As I navigate the beginning of my recovery and start physical therapy this gave me some hope. I hope your patient is enjoying playing all sorts of things.

I realize it's five years later...how did it work out? Guitar is my life, and they're taking my right shoulder next month and the left one as soon as possible afterwards.

Is the movement she has coming from her scapula? If her scapula was fused as well would she lose all movement in her arm?
Just about that. I had mine fused 10 years ago and it's ruined my life! This woman is so lucky or she had great surgeons who were more concerned about her health than their reputations!! He was supposed to be the best and i woke up with a metal plate, ten screws, and cadaver bone chunks sprinkled on top. Its considered a salvage procedure. I'm extremely grateful I still have my arm. 🙏❤️Bless 🙏
