I absolutely love this finally at age 60 I know my choice not to have friends is normal for me! Always thought there was something wrong with me that nobody wanted to be my friend 😢 please share with anyone who might have this issue, will save them a lifetime of feeling unwanted 😭

I always felt bad for not wanting friends. But I feel much happier without. So I decided to be my own best friend. I'm married with kids so. Any extra time I get to myself is a treasure 😂💛💛💛

I grew up in Germany and had many friends, and I still have some real friends there. However, I have now lived in the USA for 30 years and don’t have friends here (except 2 who live in other states).I'm okay with it because I am a dog rescuer, and my dogs are my family. I've been hurt, abused, threatened, betrayed, and cheated on by people. Yet, I am happy being by myself. When I heard him telling the "A WOMAN WITH NO FRIENDS" story, I started to cry because I realized I was the woman he was talking about. I have often thought that something was wrong with me, but now I know that's not the case. I am so grateful that I found this story to listen to, and I feel relieved to read comments that show I’m not alone. I have been living and surviving on my own for years because I am a strong woman.

I thought maybe there's something wrong because I like who I am but I don't need people around me, especially toxic people. I can enter a room and people gravitate around me. I smile and engage, but I don't need them to have a good time. Those who engage with me always has a great time, unless you are a downer, complainer, or needy, I'll let you know. I like this message this is how I live life and I think everyone should live this way.

So true. I shared an activity that I want to do...a big one...and lots of negativity. - and diminishing my desire....but also made me aware of how people want to control my dreams as well....I have learned a lesson...don't share...just do it.

I love being alone. It’s others who don’t like it and assume I don’t have a life nor stories to tell. My siblings all tell their stories during gatherings and I remain silent. They think I don’t have a life worth sharing I suppose…..
