Bloodborne Saw Cleaver Replica Build
In this video I will be making a full-scale Saw Cleaver replica out of hardened steel plate with a spring loaded locking arm and a functional locking mechanism.
This project has been a longtime in the making and I'm really happy with the final result!

Huge ribbon burner forge build part 3
Просмотров 8 тыс.3 года назад
In this 3 part video series I will be building a big gas forge to use for blacksmithing. It will run on propane gas and uses a type of burner called a ribbon burner. This large forge will come in handy for various different upcoming projects that I have planned. I will also be building a smaller forge for smaller projects. If you have any question about the forge or the building process feel fr...

Making Bloodborne Badges - Old hunter and Saw hunter
Просмотров 8635 лет назад
Thanks for taking the time to watch my video! In this video I will be making two of my favorite hunter badges from Bloodborne, the "Old hunter badge" and the "Saw hunter badge". These badges are medalions/necklaces that you acquire throughout the game and they will allow you to purchase new equipment in the Blood Echoes Shop. I love video games, art and making things. So why not combine all of ...

But why did you not wield it properly even with gentle gusto? It looks like the disembowelment of the weapon not the realization, especially if it cannot even be posed somewhat realistically

Hey quick question I notice you used a sheet of metal and I think men at arms used a railroad track, what would you need to make it lighter? Like ingots and then forge it out? I’m sure weight is a big deal for a weapon like that.

The ribbon burner is a fad. The real advantage is that they are forced induction. I built regular forge burners but made them forced induction. Super low psi on the propane and plenty of heat without making an oxidizing flame. Every ribbon burner I see has too much oxygen and creates an oxidizing flame. I forge at 4 psi and forge weld at 6 psi for propane regulator adjustments. That thing is ridiculously oversized...unless you are forging 300lb anvils. Forge On!!!

Hi good morning !!! I'm Nicola and I'm writing to you from Italy and more precisely from Trentino (Northern Italy) ... I wanted to offer you my sincere congratulations for your excellent and superb creation of the propane gas forge, and for the excellent videos in which you can see the various stages of realization and constriction and construction … excellent workshop equipment !!! I wanted to ask you and take advantage of it, since I have been in the mechanical and carpentry sector for years, and I have wanted to make a forge for years. On this occasion, I wanted to ask you if I could make your gas forge and on this occasion I had to ask you for some technical information for the same creation on my part. It's some information and some specific technical details. 1) The dimensions of the support base, I obtained some measurements 550 x 780 H = 80 mm. While for the cooking chamber or tunnel, I obtained these measurements 540 x 550 H = 350 mm, while I found some difficulty in obtaining the dimensions of the arched opening with a radius of 150 mm, while the height of the center (arch) I set to 90 mm from the base, while the width is 300 mm, with a total height from the base of 240 mm. If you can verify my measurements with yours, I would be very very grateful!!! While the total length of the tunnel is 550 mm.

I was wondering if you have for sale plans for this design as I am looking to build a forge myself and your design looks like the best I've seen. Thank you for posting your videos. Have a great day.

Been researching ribbon burners and found one thing noone ever mentioned: the cfm output of the fan, its a complete mystery how much fan a guy needs without going major overkill.

I'm not a fan of the fully enclosed door with pulleys and gravity to operate, I usually have handles welded on to my billets and they need a relief in the door to stick outside the forge. Just a small notch in the middle of the bottom of the door, maybe 1"×1" is all it would take.

I found that for cutting plate instead of sheet or small stock, a 7" cutoff wheel in a skil saw works better compared to a 4" grinder, more comfortable to use also.

Fantastic build. Question, I'm looking to try and make a first mini burner, my bench test showed that perforated metal grate works fine to achieve a mini burner using a propane/MAP torch as the gas source. Should I stick with that, or maybe try drilling holes in a fire brick then mounting a metal gas distributing block from the back? Refractory cement has been hard/expensive to come by locally so reluctant to use the straw type cast unit at this early stage.
